If you are looking for an awesome dentist in the North Seattle area, I highly recommend Dr. Julian Nguyen at North Seattle Smiles! Right from my first appointment with him I could sense that he is really enthusiastic about his work as a dentist, and truly wants to help you with this very important part of your health. I hadn't had regular dental care for a couple of years when I first came to him because my prior dentist had moved to a new location, and I had several teeth that were bothering me. His analysis of what needed to be done made sense, and perfectly matched what I was feeling and already knew to be problem areas among my teeth. He spends as much time as necessary with you during all procedures, always appearing to be calm and focused, never seeming like he is rushed (and I have challenging teeth, so all of my appointments have gone overtime!). He constantly checks in with you to be sure you are comfortable, and explains what he is doing and what you might feel. I especially appreciate that if you have a question, he will gladly and clearly answer using words, X-rays, photos of your teeth, or even by handing you a mirror and pointing out the problem directly if necessary, so that you can really understand what he has done or recommends to be done. The bottom line, of course, is that he does good work! Each of my teeth that he has worked on felt so much better afterwards! The whole team is great too! His assistant Nadia is also very friendly and skilled and will immediately put you at ease, and Amanda and Tori in the office are very helpful and efficient. There is a positive, relaxed atmosphere throughout the whole building. I really REALLY liked my prior dentist, so I feel my standards were very high, and that is probably part of why I delayed so long before seeking another dentist closer to where I live, but Dr. Nguyen has exceeded my expectations for a new dentist and been just fantastic! All in all, I highly recommend his dental practice!

I have had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Nguyen and hygienist Claudine. Everyone is very nice there and professional. The women at the front desk are friendly and competent. Claudine is exceptional and so knowledgeable and happy to share her expertise. I was having a lot of trouble getting my mouth numb at my last dentist but at North Seattle Smiles that has become a thing of the past. I am so grateful that Dr. Nguyen knew just how to handle the situation. If you are looking for a dentist you won't be disappointed with North Seattle Smiles.
