Nu U Salon is open Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Saturday early mornings from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM (closed Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday). Over the past 7 years I have transition from long hair to short hair and back to long again. When i decided to color my hair, Nikki has been excellent with advising how to properly maintain my hair between appointments. Best Natural Hair stylist I have had!
After 20 year of business, I’ve decided to part ways. I’ll never return to this shop. I went in for a trim and came out with a cut. There’s no way my hair had this much damage in the 3-month time. Watch who you allow in your head. Never let any with shorter hair than yours cut your hair. I believe she knew full well what she was doing. People will take advantage of your loyalty for their own devious reasons. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I have been a faithful client to Nikki for over 12 years. With her, I’ve transitioned from long hair to a bob, to a pixie cut, and I’m currently natural. During every transition, my hair has remained thick and healthy. Each visit, she takes the time to make sure my style is on point, and she gives recommendations and demonstrations on how to maintain my style between visits. Nikki is very professional, and her passion for her craft shows through her work and her upbeat personality each time you enter her salon. Also, the salon is clean and inviting. Nikki (owner of Nu:U Salon) is an excellent hair stylist. I have gone to her for the last 10 years, and as a resident of Dallas I haven't found ANYONE in the Dallas area to cut hair as well as she does. For the majority of the time I've gone to Nikki, I have worn my hair in a pixie, but throughout that time I've also worn it longer. No matter what stage my hair was in, long or short, Nikki kept my hair healthy and always with a fresh and up to date look and style! I have also referred several of my friends who have natural hair, and they ALL were as equally satisfied. Nu:U Salon is centrally located, and Nikki is both, professional and consistent to her brand. If you are looking for a Dallas hair stylist who can give you the cut and style you are looking for, Nikki is that person, and Nu:U Salon is the place to be.
Nikki ALWAYS comes through! Very talented and skilled at her job and always willing to share helpful tips and advice that promote healthier hair. Having gone through multiple hair phases (short hair, long hair, natural, relaxed), Nikki has become my go-to hair stylist that I trust. Prices are great too!!
