Sign in to reviewStopped by for a cortado and overall had a good experience. The space is really nice, comfortable, clean, and somewhere I'd hang out. The cortado was solid, though not one of the stronger ones I've had. Presentation and latte art were decent, but there were some visible micro bubbles and the surface had a noticeable two-tone appearance rather than a fully integrated, glossy texture. The drink was also served hotter than a cortado should be, which made it difficult to pick up the coffee's character at first. As it cooled, some pleasant citrus notes started to come through and the drink became more enjoyable. Overall, a solid coffee shop with great atmosphere. I enjoyed the experience, but I think better milk integration and a more appropriate serving temperature would have elevated the cortado quite a bit.
Perfect LA spot to Kickstart your mood with their array of coffee blends, teas and tasty saviors. I recommend the Masala Chai Tea with a sandwich paired with the donut. DJ was definitely setting the Sunday vibe.
This coffee shop is beautiful, and the location is perfect. However, today will be my last time giving it a try. When I walked up to the register, I greeted the staff with a “good morning,” but the woman at the counter was not welcoming—she barely acknowledged me and responded with a grunt. I don’t expect over-the-top friendliness, but basic courtesy goes a long way. I ordered my usual coffee (which came out quickly) and decided to try their breakfast sandwich. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. The sandwich was very disappointing—the egg was unseasoned, there was no sauce, and overall it was dry and lacked flavor. For $13 plus tip, I expected a little bit better. I genuinely wish this business continued success, but I hope management encourages their staff to be a bit more welcoming. The only positive part of the experience was the gentleman making the coffee—he was the only one who seemed like he actually wanted to be there. Also please fix your AC the place was so hot inside, I don't know how it can be comfortable for anyone.
Unique flavors with friendly service and neighborhood feel. Try the latte/coffee specials and the coconut donut… yum!
Coffee was delicious, not too sweet, something you don’t always expect with “fun” drinks on the menu. Definitely going back for the pastries!
