He is honest and straight forward on what can and needs to be done. Gives perfect estimates and I would say he treats your vehicle as if it was his..with care and determination to have it running smoothly!
Incredibly kind mechanic that has your best interest in mind. We had a last min emergency and I took my mom's car here. Even though Hugo was already overbooked for the day, as soon as he saw the brake pin was loose, he urged us to leave the car so that he could fix it for us ASAP. He explained how dangerous it would be if the brake pin came off. He made sure to check the oil, fluids, other brakes and tires to make sure my mom would be safe to make a long drive home (5 hrs). Communication was excellent and the work was completed quicker than the time estimate that he provided. The price was way below what he deserved to be paid so I definitely tipped him extra. I cannot emphasize how much I appreciated Hugo helping us today. I will be recommending him to everyone!
Came in with my 2010 Honda Insight Ex Hybrid for a lug nut and stud issue on my tire, it was loose and kept spinning. A tire store was unable to get it off and another auto shop was unable to assure me they could fix it and quoted me $1,000 and up. I was reccomended to come here by Discount Tires saying Hugo would be able to take it off for cheaper. When I met Hugo he quoted me $140 and said he was able to do a walk in immediately and have it done in 3 hours. I was shocked how cheap it was compared to other places and he was able to get the lug nut and stud out and replaced it with a new one. When I picked up my car there were no extra charges or a deeper issue to fix. I'm grateful I came here. He was honest and upfront about what he would have to do to fix it, which was to break the lug nut into pieces and warned me there would be scratches on the metal plate of the tire because of how invasive the procedure would be. I said I didn't care as long as he was able to fix it because it was a huge safety issue for me, and he fixed it!!! I'm happy I can put a new tire sensor on it now and if I get a flat on that side I can take the tire off now. Highly reccomend!
A good and honest mechanic is as important as a good doctor, maybe even more important! We have been going to Hugo for years. I am very grateful to him AND to the person who recommended him!
