Oliboli Donuts is a standout donut shop in Tustin, CA for people who care about freshness, texture, and a more thoughtful donut experience. Located at 135 W First St Suite B in Tustin, this shop has built a strong local following, reflected in its 4.8 rating across more than 1,100 reviews. What makes Oliboli different is simple but memorable: instead of pulling donuts from a display case, the team prepares them fresh to order and serves them warm just minutes later. For many visitors in Tustin and nearby Orange County communities, that made-to-order approach is the reason the shop feels less routine and more like a special stop.
Customers often describe the donuts as light, fluffy, and best enjoyed hot. Reviewers consistently mention how the glaze or topping seems to melt right into the donut when it is served fresh, creating a soft, rich bite that stands apart from a typical grab-and-go pastry. Popular flavors mentioned by guests include the Banafee donut, banana pudding donut, crunchy coffee, maple walnut, maple, glazed, monte cristo, and seasonal specials. The menu may not be built around endless variety, but that seems to be part of the appeal: people come to Oliboli Donuts for carefully prepared donuts with distinct textures and flavor combinations rather than a standard bakery case full of options.
The atmosphere also adds to the experience. Reviewers note that it is a cute cafe with enough seating to stay awhile, making it a comfortable place to slow down and enjoy your order while it is still warm. That makes this Tustin donut shop a good fit for casual coffee-and-donut dates, weekend treat runs, small family outings, or anyone meeting friends in the area. Coffee is also part of the experience, with customers mentioning that it pairs well with the donuts. Because the donuts are best fresh, Oliboli seems especially suited for people who want to sit down and enjoy the food at its peak rather than take it home for later.
Service is another detail that comes up often in reviews. Guests describe being welcomed with smiles and warm hospitality, and some mention meeting the owner and appreciating the personal story behind the business. That human element helps explain why Oliboli Donuts feels memorable to so many locals. In a city with plenty of dessert options, this donut shop in Tustin, California stands out for its fresh-to-order process, warm presentation, and flavors people talk about long after the last bite. If you are searching for a donut spot in Tustin, CA where quality and freshness come first, Oliboli is a name worth knowing.

Sign in to review**4.7/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟✨ Oliboli Donuts Tustin: Fluffy Hot Donuts That Put Krispy Kreme to Shame** Tucked in a quiet Tustin plaza off Newport Ave, **Oliboli Donuts** is the mochi donut revolution Orange County didn’t know it needed 🍩🔥. The moment you walk in, the scent of fresh batter hitting the fryer wraps around you like a warm hug. The shop is cute and minimalist—pastel walls, a glowing display case, and a window into the kitchen where the magic happens in real time. These **fluffy hot donuts** are next-level: made-to-order mochi rings that come out piping hot, with that signature bouncy-chewy texture from glutinous rice flour. The exterior cracks just right, giving way to an airy, pillowy inside that’s somehow light yet satisfying. Glazes are applied fresh— the **ube** is vibrant purple and coconutty-sweet, **matcha** earthy and not too bitter, **black sesame** nutty perfection, and the seasonal **strawberry milk** tastes like childhood cereal in the best way 🤤. Honestly? A **better Krispy Kreme**. The original glaze here has that melt-in-your-mouth hot light vibe, but with superior texture and flavor depth—no greasy aftertaste, just pure joy. One bite and the classic yeast donut feels one-note by comparison. They’re pricier than chain spots, but you’re paying for handmade, fresh-off-the-line quality. Staff are sweet, boxing them carefully so they stay warm on the drive home. Only docking 0.3 because peak weekends mean a 10-min wait (totally worth it—order ahead via app). Parking’s easy in the lot. Oliboli is a must-try if you think you’ve had the best donuts. These fluffy, hot mochi rings are addictive—grab a half-dozen (or full, no judgment) and thank me later. Tustin’s new donut king. I’m already planning tomorrow’s excuse to come back.
Oliboli isn’t your typical walk-in, grab-a-donut, and head-out kind of shop. Instead of picking something out of a case, every donut is made fresh to order in the kitchen and handed to you warm within 3–5 minutes. Whatever topping or glaze you choose melts right into the donut and adds to the flavor instead of overpowering it. The donuts come out warm, light, and almost brioche-like, with just enough crispy edge to make each bite feel special. Plan on paying around $5-6 dollars per donut. I ordered the Maple and the Autumn Sprinkle, and both were great for different reasons: • Maple Glazed: Warm, soft, and perfectly glazed. The outside has a gentle crisp from the fryer, and the maple flavor isn’t overly sweet — super balanced. It reminds me of a really good old-fashioned but with more lift and a cleaner finish. • Autumn Sprinkle: Fun, seasonal, and surprisingly flavorful. The glaze has a hint of vanilla, and the sprinkles add great texture without being overly crunchy or artificial. If you’re in a fall mood, this one nails it. Overall, Oliboli is one of the few donut shops where you can tell every donut is made with intention. If you appreciate quality over quantity, this place is a must-visit in OC.
Tried the banana pudding donut and it was good. At $8 each though, it was on the expensive side, so it's not something I'd get all the time. The coffee was good too and paired nicely with the donut. Tip: don't let it sit around too long. Best enjoyed fresh.
If you want hot off the press fresh donuts, this is it! They have limited variety flavored/concoctions of donuts. We got the crunchy coffee, maple walnut and the most recommended Banafee donuts. All were really good and melt in your mouth. Very cute cafe and plenty of of table to enjoy your donuts with your choice of poison! Plenty of parking as well. At the end of the hall, you can watch your donuts taking shape. A bit pricey but so, so good.
Amazing experience. We were greeted with smiles and hospitality. We ordered the monte cristo, maple, glazed, and valentines special donuts. Everything was excellent. We had an opportunity to visit / meet Victor the owner. What an amazing story of compassion, love, dedication, and perseverance for his bakery shop. We were so impressed with the story and this bakery. We recommend this bakery hot spot for everyone. First class in all that they do.
