Portland girl here who actively seeks out bath houses in other countries and cities—and Olympus Spa did not disappoint. I’ve been wanting to try this spot for over a year and it was soooo worth the wait. I love that it’s women-only and fully nude; I felt instantly comfortable, empowered, and free being exactly as I am. I loved everything: hot tub, cold plunge(60 to 63 degrees which was perfect), sauna, steam room, tea bath, salt room, cold room, mud/lava rock room, and the red light Himalayan salt room—absolute heaven. We went on a Saturday around 11am and it was definitely packed, so expect a lively, social vibe. This is not the place for total silence and zen during peak times (try off-hours if that’s your goal), but if you enjoy communal spa energy and a confident, body-positive environment, this place is a must. Compared to Portland bath houses, this is a no-brainer. Portland spots are wildly overpriced, have fewer amenities, and usually cap you at 90–120 minutes. Here, we paid $62 including tax, there’s no time limit, and you could easily spend the entire day—especially since there’s even a restaurant on site.

I've been to Olympus Spa several times, specifically for the massages, definitely want to do the day pass and experience everything on their menu for sure though, and I swear every single time I get back in my car afterward, it literally brings tears to my eyes because of how AMAZING I feel. 😭❤️ All the tension, soreness, and knots are gone, and I leave with this overwhelming sense of peace and well-being. You genuinely feel like you've been taken care of, not just like you got a massage, but like the universe was stripping all your stress and worries and pain away through their hands. I've had great experiences here, but Que and Laura are my absolute favorites!! They are both amazing at what they do, and I HIGHLY recommend either one of them. If you carry a lot of tension or just need to feel like a whole new person for a minute, PLEASE GO! You will not regret it. ❤️ and request either of those beautiful spirits specifically! -Shae 🧚🏻‍♀️✨️

Overall, a good experience with nice pools, clean facilities, good Korean food, and relaxing variety of heated and cool rooms. The only thing lacking was no information about preparation before you have certain service services. For example, I booked the mud pack and I was not told at check-in or at any time that I should be sitting in the charcoal room for 15 minutes before. There was no orientation. When the person doing my mud pack came to get me she said “have you been sitting in the charcoal room” and I had no idea what she was talking about. Someone at the front desk should be informing people who are checking in for services if they need to prepare ahead of time by sitting in certain rooms before those services . I also had a facial by Chanel, who was fabulous.

Just go here!!! You will have zero regrets, except that you should’ve came sooner. The Korean body scrub is amazing! My skin is now legally classified as “butter.” The food at the tiny restaurant is also great! Love all the pools and relaxing rooms. I personally appreciate the no phones. It really makes you take extra time for yourself.

I’m genuinely confused by the high ratings for this place. Maybe my standards are different, or maybe people leaving reviews have never been to a Korean spa before, but this was far from a relaxing experience. The facility was loud and crowded, the showers had hair in them, and no slippers were provided, forcing guests to walk barefoot throughout the spa—including wet areas. The front desk was disorganized, and the facilities felt old, dingy, and poorly maintained. I’ve visited many Korean spas, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. At $54 for admission, I expected much more. You even have to pay for tea in the tea room, which is surprising given the entry fee. There were only two water stations, cups had to be requested from the front desk, and infused water came at an additional charge. Amenities that are typically included at most Korean spas felt nickel-and-dimed here. There was no gym, and the lounging and resting areas were dark, outdated, and uninviting. The only redeeming part of the experience was the restaurant—the food was delicious, and the service there was excellent. Overall, this was the dirtiest and most disappointing spa experience I’ve had, and I honestly don’t understand how it maintains such high reviews.
