Incredible service and a very professional approach. Bryan my hairdresser helped me choose the perfect hair style. I couldn’t be happier. Conveniently located off the Main Street. Ample parking, easily accessible. Very spacious salon. Wide verity of high quality hair products for sale. He took his times helping me pick the best products for my hair, didn’t feel rushed at all. My friend recommended me to go see Bryan and he wasn’t wrong This will be my regular spot from now on.
I’ve been going to Nicole Romero at One to One Salon for my hair for almost 6 years. Nicole has completely changed my hair by giving me amazing extensions and highlights to match. She is a genius with color and does such an incredible job with length, volume, and highlights that no one ever realizes my hair isn’t all my own. I get compliments all the time and people are constantly asking where I go to have it done. I was nervous at first that extensions might damage my own locks, but my hair is in better condition now than when I started. I’ve had so many stylists over process my hair over the years, so I’m really cautious about heat and bleaching. Nicole and her assistant, Lisset, are very patient and attentive during processing and never rush things or put me under heat. My blonde stays healthy, soft, and natural-looking because of the care they take. Nicole is a ton of fun and always teaches me something. I never leave without a new product, restaurant, or TV show recommendation. She and Lisset make appointments feel relaxing and pampering instead of like a chore. So, I look forward to my visits and always finish up looking and feeling great. One to One Salon is also a lovely spot. The staff keep it very clean and well stocked and never fail to offer me a coffee or special drink when I arrive. The stylists seem to really enjoy working together, which makes it a very pleasant place to get services. I'm so glad I found One to One and especially Nicole @hairgypsynick.
After my stylist of 8 years retired, I was left in the abyss of finding the perfect hairstylist. This is an extremely stressful task for both aesthetic and financial reasons. I tried out another stylist in OC, and she was insanely expensive..and in the same token, over processed my hair. I found Brian/One to One salon through a friend, and I’m so happy. Everyone in the salon was super friendly, and Brian is a true professional. His assistant was wonderful too. He took me from an over processed blonde to an expensive brunette. I plan to go back for monthly Kerastase Fusio dose treatments. Highly recommended!
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Aynaz, and I genuinely hope no one else has to go through what I did. Her work, communication, and overall professionalism were far below what she advertises online. I came in asking for blonde highlights and showed clear reference photos. Instead of listening to my request, she applied an ash toner that completely changed the tone of my hair. I later learned that she uses ash to temporarily hide uneven or patchy color because she cannot achieve the blonde shades she promotes on Instagram. After a few washes, the uneven sections began to show, proving that the ash toner was used to cover mistakes rather than create the actual color I asked for. She originally quoted me $350 and said everything was included—haircut, blow-dry, conditioner, toner, and so on. She even said she would give me a free haircut as a first-time client. None of this was true. At the end of the appointment, she charged me $550, and the “haircut” she claimed to include was barely a trim. Time management was another major issue. My appointment was at 3 PM, but she didn’t take me in until 5 PM because she was working on multiple clients at once. She left me sitting with product on my hair for more than an hour while she attended to other customers. The salon was cold, I wasn’t feeling well afterward, and by the time she finished my hair, it was 10:30 PM. A simple color appointment should not take over seven hours. The final result was extremely uneven—patchy, blotchy, and nothing like what I requested. My hair now needs professional color correction. What bothered me even more is that she insisted on taking before/after photos even though I clearly said I don’t consent. She later took a photo of my hair from the corner when I wasn’t looking. That felt invasive and completely unprofessional. She also asked me to send payment to her boyfriend’s bank account and told me not to mention that it was for hair coloring “because of tax.” This was another serious red flag. To make matters worse, the salon owner takes no responsibility because each chair is rented out individually. There is no management support if something goes wrong. On top of everything, the constant delays and the poor quality of her work all come down to one simple issue: she refuses to hire an assistant. Because she tries to handle every step of every service alone, she cannot stay on schedule, she keeps clients waiting for hours, and she is never able to deliver the work properly or on time. The entire experience becomes chaotic, rushed, and unprofessional simply because she wants to keep all the profit for herself instead of investing in proper help. This affects every client who walks in, and it’s the reason the service is so slow, stressful, and poorly executed. Overall, this was one of the worst salon experiences I’ve ever had—poor communication, misleading pricing, unprofessional behavior, and a final result that damaged my hair. I do not recommend Aynaz to anyone.
