Sign in to reviewHoly moly I don’t need a hook for my review; this place lives up to the hype. After my first bite of the Normandie, all I could do was eat more of it. The sandwich was perfectly hot (very important for my Asian standards lol), perfectly juicy on its own but even more with the au jus, and so flavorful and cheesy. I used to be a sandwich hater and I genuinely think this could solve my parents’ main gripes with sandwiches being hard or dry, plus the meat isn’t cold deli meat. The drinks are also well-crafted. I got an americano with their original cream top. The coffee was smooth and the cream top wasn’t too sweet, with flavors reminiscent of the buttercream found in Swiss roll cakes. Interior is very littlefatboyfrankie coded — very thoughtful design that bridges tradition with innovation. My only two gripes: Can you guys PLEASE turn down the AC?? And maybe make the WiFi a little better?? I can’t tell if it’s a tactic to get us to not study there but your college student audience loves you 😭 It is also a little expensive for the portion but also I was full on half a sandwich so I guess that’s not really a complaint if it lasts me two meals. Also there’s validated underground parking because parking in that area is a nightmare.
I ordered the Beverly and the Normandie. The Beverly was a burger, with crispy fried chicken and kewpie mayo sauce. The Normandie sandwich had fresh brisket and cheese. The flavor was good, but the baguette bread made it feel a bit hard. Americano was rich and had no acidity, so it suited my taste well. The vibe was lively, and they also sell various items like wine and goods, so it is a place worth visiting.
Very nice spot, with convenient location strategically right next to the parking bureau balancing their negativity...we discovered this place thanks to their long waiting times and that is actually very positive! The breakfast sandwich, potatoes, hochicha latte sweetened with honey and with almond milk, as well as the Normandie sandwich were so tasty! Legit quality and great staff.
Came in for a late breakfast and coffee, and I was pleasantly surprised! I had the breakfast bowl and Banana Milk Late (BML) loved that I could actually taste the banana!!! My friend had the O.M breakfast sandwich and latte (solid choices). Great decor and music. Very chill spot to hang out with good food. Would definitely come again!
One of the best breakfast burritos I’ve had lately rich bold flavors and delicious salsa. The coffee was fantastic!! Definitely worth it 💯🔥
