Paya Thai Fish & Chips

We decided to split a Captain's Platter amongst 3 of us. Added an extra clan chowder for good measure. That was way too much food! The player is not like pictured in display board. It is possibly twice as generous. Crispy good seafood.

This place has super fresh fish! It’s also fried well and in clean oil you can tell. The sauces are homemade and the coleslaw is a good mix of vinegar and creamy. The owner is super nice and had a lot of great recommendations. The shrimp was lovely too. The plating was so beautiful and playful!! We’re definitely gonna come back for the famous clam chowder!

Outstanding fish and chips. The cod was fresh tasting, filleted, and hand-breaded the same day with a crispy panko crust. The clam chowder was excellent as well, and I learned it’s non-dairy without sacrificing any flavor. All of the sides that I tried, including the coleslaw, were great, and the portions are huge, one meal could easily feed two people. The staff was super friendly, which made the experience even better. Overall, this is a fantastic spot whether you’re dining solo, traveling with friends, or meeting up with family. It’s very kid-friendly and located in a welcoming food hall atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Wow, this place really does live up to the hype you see on social media. First thing, don’t judge a book by its cover. The wife and I came in not expecting much at first…but once we were greeted by the owner and his family they treated us better than we have at any other spot. Breading was perfect, not to thick not to thin. Fries were done just right and the shrimp was delicious. The cocktail sauce was perfectly tangy as well as the tartar sauce. We ordered the special and it definitely filled us up. The attention detail was great with the sliced lemon and edible flower. Highly recommend this “hole in the wall” spot. Again, the service was top notch. A total must try if in the area!

It’s in the food hall. Great size portions, and you can tell that the chef cares about the quality of his food and the satisfaction of his customers. His children are working behind the register and help me pick the five piece shrimp and two piece cod special with fries. The fish was perfectly fried, the fries were delicious and the shrimp was great.
