Pearl Nails

Got an almond powder set for new years from Apple and she did an amazing job. I’m a perfectionist when it comes to shaping and I didn’t have to ask her to fix anything. She was also very receptive when placing the stickers. I’m very happy with my nails :) thank you!!

Amazing lady’s who are so sweet. They care so much and pay attention to every detail. The best nails I have had in a long time.

I’m really sad to write this review because the ladies who helped me were super nice and I really tried to be optimistic though I had a bad feeling. I went here because of the great reviews and because it was within walking distance of where I was getting my brakes replaced. Going in, I had an awesome gel mani/pedi done in Paso Robles that were growing out. My nails still looked awesome even after almost 3 weeks; they felt strong and healthy. No breaks at all and one lady commented on how great they looked. I wanted another mani/pedi with gel, and they have a great selection of gel options. While looking through the colors, I didn’t notice at first that they were using a drill to remove the old gel. I’ve only had places use acetone in the past. Afterwards, I realized that it completely ruins your nails. They are so incredibly thin and brittle that I am breaking/bending them on everything even though she cut them very short (much shorter than they were or that I wanted). I wasn’t a fan of the way they looked, but I don’t like to complain. You can see from the side that they were never even properly smoothed/buffed and are all bumpy and uneven. The pictures are from exactly 1 week later. It’s hard to do anything - wash my hair, open a can, search through my purse… anything because they snag and break constantly. It is painful and frustrating. I would not return even if I was paid to because this will take many weeks of rehabilitation… and it is such a shame because my nails had never looked as good as they did before I went there. Also, this cost $75 and there were no additional spa treatments or anything else (basic gem mani/pedi) and I still tipped $25 (because I am nice) so I spent $100 to get my nails ruined and be in pain for weeks. 😭 If you have gel, stay away or at least make sure they soak them off.

First time at this nail salon and I absolutely loved it! I got a new gel-x set and Apple did such an amazing job. Everyone is so kind and accommodating.
