This company provides transportation through my health insurance. The drivers have been e n terrific! However, I have become truly fed up with the person who accepts my requests for transportation yet has no intention of fulfilling the obligation. There have have been three times in recent memory where I had an appointment that was time sensitive. PA Hope Home Health accepted the trip only to inform at the time of the trip they were unable to take me to my destination. The reason being that their contract did not allow them to go to a bordering state. The destination is on the request and should not have been accepted. This has prevented me from going on my trips, costing me hundreds of dollars each time as I was out the money spent. I cannot just show up whenever I find an alternative means if travel. These trips are made a minimum of 72 hours in advance. Once a company accepts the trip, no other companies can get it. This is unacceptable. Another problem I have had is that the person scheduling the driver's and vehicles double schedules, meaning that I have a ride, sometimes with 3 or 4 legs. The driver and vehicle assigned to me was assigned to someone else and unable to take me home at the assigned time. I had to wait 45 minutes for someone else to come. This type of situation has happened twice recently. I understand that "things happen" and am typically patient individual. However, it seems like the person who accepts the rides from the portal is interested only in securing trips for income but not in fulfilling obligations. While typing this review, I received a call from the driver explaining that he is not able to do the trip. My trip was scheduled to begin more than 2 hours ago. This us another problem I've had with this company. Normally, I can be flexible with my times and the drivers know this. However, courtesy does require communication. I am hoping that the owner of the company will see this and address this problem so that others are not frustrated as I have been
