Pepper Asian Bistro is an Asian fusion restaurant at 2831 E Colfax Ave in Denver, Colorado (Denver, CO 80206). It offers a menu that brings together familiar Asian-inspired dishes and drinks, making it a local option for lunch or dinner on East Colfax. The restaurant is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from noon to 10 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 9:30 p.m. Its 4.6-star rating across 1,525 reviews gives visitors a useful snapshot of its local reputation, while individual experiences naturally vary.

Customer reviews mention sharing starters such as crab or regular wontons and calamari, often served with several dipping sauces. Sesame chicken is another reported choice, with one diner noting crisp mixed vegetables, a generous serving of brown rice, and chicken prepared mild to suit a companion’s preference. These details suggest options for guests who enjoy a familiar entrée and rice, as well as people who like ordering a few appetizers to share. Reviews also describe portions as plentiful for the price, though value and portion preferences are personal.

Drinks add another point of interest: reviewers specifically praise the Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee, with one describing the coffee as especially strong. For diners seeking something with a different flavor profile, peanut curry appears in customer feedback too; one reviewer felt the peanut flavor was not apparent, so expectations for that dish may differ. Other visitors describe their meals as fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Taken together, the feedback points to a menu with a range of choices, while also showing why it can help to ask staff about ingredients, spice levels, or preparation when a particular flavor matters to you.

The setting is described by one customer as a nicer restaurant, and reviews include couples, partners, and families visiting Denver. That makes Pepper Asian Bistro worth considering for a casual meal together, a shared appetizer stop, or a family dinner where diners can choose different dishes and spice levels. Feedback is not uniformly positive: a reviewer raised concerns about serving etiquette, and another reported finding a hair in a piece of chicken. The latter says the restaurant offered a replacement and an appetizer after the concern was brought to its attention. If you have a food allergy or a specific preparation concern, confirm details directly with the restaurant. Located on East Colfax, Pepper Asian Bistro offers Denver diners a convenient address, broad Asian-fusion choices, and customer-reported favorites including wontons, sesame chicken, Thai tea, and Vietnamese coffee.

Best food I’ve had and the portions were amazing for the price, the Vietnamese coffee was good and very very strong. The Thai tea is absolutely amazing. Me and my boyfriend went and got the calamari and wontons for appetizers, and they were both great came with three different dipping sauces. I got the Mongolian beef for my lunch and it came with a ton of rice and a spring roll, super good and worth it. He got the drunken noodles and they were amazing!! I know this is long but it was just too good haha

It appears to be a nicer restaurant. There are logos on the plates, but the waitress clearly was not trained in proper serving ettiquette. The peanut curry did not have a hint of peanut at all (no actual peanut, no crumbed peanut, no scent of peanut), and when the waitress brought it, she said "Penang Curry". I wonder if they gave me the wrong order. On top of that, it was way too sweet, mostly catering to the general American stomach. The Calamari was thickly coated with bread. When I put my vegetables in my rice bowl, the bowl cracked in half on the table, quite a strange thing. The waiter replaced it with a new bowl of rice, but I lost a lot of my vegetables. (Low quality of eating crockery?) The whole experience was not overly exciting.

Shared crab wontons, sesame chicken, brown rice and a glass of chardonnay with my partner. Plenty of food for two. Very good ordered chicken mild as partner cannot ear spicy, was done perfectly with mixed veggies done crisp, brown rice in abundance, wontons, 6,delivered hot to table, also very good. Adequate glasses of wine. Will go back to try other dishes. Construction on Colfax is a pain. But worth it. Resturant very quiet, service speedy and good. 2nd visit. Pot stickers, 6 fried hot stuffed full. Mongolian beef large serving with rice, ordered hot excellent lots of beef. Chicken with cashews, flavorful good veggies. Wine for each. Stars not changed highly reccomended.

I was enjoying my meal until I found this piece of chicken with a hair threaded into it. It makes me question what I'm eating, if it's chicken or not, and how much other stuff I've eaten that was contaminated like this. I did take it back to them and they offered a free replacement and app. I'm definitely a little turned off from them but they were nice and it's a nice place so I'm sure it was a one off.
