Stop to get desert here 7/7. We got a bunch of tart/ cheese cake slices as we ate with our eyes first. They are not only beautiful pastries but just as delicious. 5 stars across the board. I wish their drinks were just as good though. The match mango is a tea packet. So it pretty much tastes like water. The passion fruit tea was decent but holy moly the Grapefruit tea missed the mark. It was SO bitter. HIGH rating because the desserts we priced amazing and tasted just as good.

The beautiful display of a vast selection of cakes is certainly impressive, but I can't help wondering if quality control suffers as a result. The Shine Muscat Tart was delightful; the fruit itself was delicious and the crust was buttery. The base was basic, doughy, and presumably the same for all the other tarts with different toppings. As for the Raspberry Pistachio Cheesecake, I couldn't taste the pistachio at all and the cheesecake itself was dry. Considering the portion & presentation, I would say the $9 per slice is justified. But I can see why some people would be upset at the lack of a clear display indicating the price for cakes. Transparency would be appreciated. I wouldn't say my overall impression of the place was favorable. Towards the end, there was an employee spraying down the tables near us with Windex(?). The overpowering smell of cleaning chemicals in the air masked our desserts, and I lost my appetite after that. All that being said, I still prefer this place over some other overhyped dessert cafés in the area...

We noticed this dessert shop while walking to a nearby restaurant for dinnerand decided to stop in afterward. Since cheesecakes are one of their signature items, we chose the chestnut cheesecake based on the staff’s recommendation. It was beautifully presented and definitely photo‑worthy, but the taste and texture fell short. I know cheesecakes come in many styles, but this one was unusually hard, dense, and dry, with very little flavor even for someone who prefers desserts on the less sweet side. We struggled to cut into it with the plastic forks provided and ended up taking the rest home to finish with metal forks the next day.

The cakes are so beautiful and delicious. The reason the tart is so tall is because it is a chocolate cake stacked on top. I really enjoyed the strawberry Oreo tart and the choco banana pudding tart. If I had to choose one. Then the …

The display at Petit Four Dessert Cafe is magnificent, making it nearly impossible to choose just one thing. It’s the kind of place where you’ll gain a few pounds but lose a few dollars, and it’s worth every bit. We saw a huge selection ranging from cheesecakes and croffles to macarons and cookies. While the slices are generously sized, the prices remain very reasonable. The cafe had a great energy with about half the tables filled, and it was fun to see everyone sharing and sampling different treats. It's definitely a social spot for dessert lovers in Carrollton.
