Philadelphia Hair Design

Philadelphia Hair Design is a hair salon at 1624 Pine St in Philadelphia, PA, welcoming clients looking for a thoughtful cut, a fresh style, or a change in hair color. The salon’s customer feedback points to an approach centered on listening and collaboration: clients describe discussing their goals with a stylist, considering a plan together, and leaving with a result that suits what they had in mind. That can be especially helpful when you are planning a significant change and want to talk through the direction before getting started. The salon has a 4.6-star rating from 199 reviews, offering a useful snapshot of client experiences.

Color services are among the experiences customers specifically mention. One client praised Jasmine for working with her on a color plan and creating highlights with a blended root that matched her goals. For anyone considering highlights or a softer-looking root blend, that account suggests the value of explaining what you want and agreeing on an approach with your stylist. Reviews also describe successful haircut transformations, including a client who went from hair below the waist to a much shorter look. Whether you are considering a substantial chop or a change in color, sharing your preferences and expectations can help guide the appointment.

Clients also highlight the people and atmosphere at Philadelphia Hair Design. Reviewers describe the stylists as welcoming, professional, talented, and willing to listen, while noting that Kate, the owner, offers thoughtful suggestions and makes time to understand a client’s direction. One customer had a FaceTime consultation with Kate before coming in for a cut the following day. Reviews also mention that the salon supports the development of its stylists and apprentices. Taken together, these comments may appeal to clients who appreciate a collaborative conversation, a friendly team, and guidance that still keeps their own goals at the center.
