Phuong Tailoring & Alteration is a tailor in Las Vegas, Nevada, serving people looking for clothing alterations and tailoring in the southern part of the city. The shop is located at 9711 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89183. Whether you are bringing in one item for a fit adjustment or several pieces that need attention, it is helpful to explain the desired result clearly and confirm the details before leaving your garments. The business is listed with a 4.1-star rating from 51 reviews, reflecting a range of customer experiences rather than a single, uniform impression.

Customers mention bringing in garments for alterations, including pants and activewear, and one reviewer also describes bringing a cushion. The available information does not specify a complete menu of services, so contact the shop directly to check whether it can handle your particular fabric, item, or alteration. For delicate or performance fabrics, describe the material and any care requirements before work begins. If you have a specific fit in mind, showing how you want the garment to sit and asking the staff to repeat the requested changes can help make expectations clear.

Feedback is mixed. One customer says they were pleased with their alterations and would return, while several others describe work that did not match their instructions, delays beyond the expected pickup date, or items that they felt were unfinished or did not fit correctly. These reviews are individual accounts, but they make it sensible to confirm the scope of work, price, and promised completion date when dropping off an item. Before leaving, consider asking how the material will be handled and what to do if a fitting or adjustment does not meet the agreed specifications. Check each item at pickup and raise any concerns with the shop promptly.

Phuong Tailoring & Alteration may be worth considering if you are in Las Vegas and want to ask a local tailor about clothing adjustments or another sewing-related need. It may be especially useful to people who can visit the shop, discuss their requests in person, and allow time to verify the fit and finish before an important event. The shop is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Hours can change, so confirm before making a special trip. Clear instructions, realistic timing, and a careful pickup review are practical ways to approach any alteration appointment.

I had a terrible experience at this tailor shop and would not recommend it to anyone. I brought in 4 pieces to be altered, and when I picked them up, every single item was done incorrectly. The worst part was my two activewear pieces. They tried to use heat (like ironing/steaming) on them and ended up damaging the fabric. The material is now visibly ruined. I came back the next day to explain everything, and the owner only offered me a $20 refund even though I paid $80 total. I declined. I returned again with receipts showing the damaged items needed to be replaced, and he refused, saying the damage would “go away after 4–5 washes.” I had already washed them once and the damage was still there. I shouldn’t have to repeatedly wash my clothes hoping they magically fix themselves. Instead of taking responsibility, he blamed his worker but as the owner, that responsibility falls on him. Very unprofessional, poor quality work, and no accountability. Do not recommend at all.o

If I had read the comments first, I wouldn't have gone there. Instructions were not read correctly. It took extra time to get the job done correctly. Only took 1 piece to check them out. Took everything else to Al Phillips The Cleaner on Windmill & Pecos. Bit more expensive and out of my neighborhood but they do a great job.

I dropped off my cushion on 09/22 and was told it would be ready by 09/29. When I called, it still wasn’t finished, so I gave an extra three days. By 10/02, I finally received it—dirty and unfinished. The fabric alone cost $30/yard, so this is no small matter. Very disappointing workmanship and unprofessional service. Phuong used to be a reliable tailor, but the quality has gone downhill.

Don’t waste your time or money here. Firstly their customer service is horrible. They don’t speak to you at all. Secondly-they don’t finish on the day they promised. I came in and my clothes weren’t even touched. Had to come again the next day. Then my pants were taken in way too much and didn’t fit. I was told to come back. Still had to wait. You won’t get a sorry better yet a thank you from them. This was my first and last time using them. This was my fault for not looking at their reviews beforehand.
