Ordered a #1 Dac Biet (cold cut special combination) $7.25 and asked for extra pate +$0.75 and a #12 Heo Quay (pork belly) $8.99. I thought I paid for extra pate, but instead I got less than a normal serving. Is this a joke? I was appalled when I bit into my banh mi and tasted close to no pate. Opened the sandwich, lifted the meat, and saw more bread than pate. INSANE The butter they use isn't even the homemade Vietnamese mayo/butter. It literally tastes like normal whipped butter you get at the grocery store. No mayo at all?? INSANE The heo quay/pork belly was actually the only really good thing here. It was so fatty and tender in the best way, and the skin was actually crispy and crunchy! The meat was so juicy and savory. I'd come back for the pork belly, but that's it! The bread on the outside is flaky, crispy and soft on the inside—the perfect baguette. They need to add more cilantro, pate and also make their own homemade Vietnamese mayo/butter. I paid an additional +$0.75 for nothing, and their only saving grace was the pork belly.

This place next to ABC Supermaket. Small place but clean, have some table for dine in. Mungbean milk tea is okay. There is a bit bitter taste after. I try # 19 Pork chop rice. I dont recommended this. The pork chop is hard, give up half way 🤣. Pickles veggies is okay, same like other places. # 16 Chicken fried rice. I dont recommended this one too. Is not taste right. For $ 11, portion is okay. I dont try their sandwich.

Today was my first time trying this place. The price, quality, and portion size are all fabulous. The lemon grass beef far out beat the grilled chicken flavor wise. I've been obsessed with dipping my bahn mi in phò broth ever since I live in HI. Lucky for me there's a phò restaurant further down the strip mall so I ordered a side of broth to dunk my bahn mi in. 🤌🏻

English is challenging for the workers yet very adamant about selling other food/drink products, Food was ok, I like discounts when fhey are almost closed, price is better trying to get rid of food. Overall price is ok, not cheap yet could be less for the quality that offers vietnamese sandwiches that other shops can rival.
