I took my 2020 Nissan Kicks to Precision Automotive for a second opinion after the dealership failed to properly diagnose a persistent grind/rattle noise. August and his team were incredibly thorough and professional. Unlike other places that just did a visual check, they performed a full diagnostic and a borescope inspection to actually go see what was going on. They were able to identify a mechanical defect that others had dismissed, providing me with the clear, documented proof I needed. It is hard to find a shop that combines this level of technical skill with genuine honesty. If you want a team that actually uses the right tools to find the root cause of a problem, this is the place to go.
Great service! I was having the wheels balanced and rotated on my van when at Discount Tire when they ran into a problem with one of the wheel studs, they recommended this place down the street for the repair, Precision Auto was able to book me an appointment for the next morning at 10 AM. When I got there they had the parts ready and got the repair done in less than one hour. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, their waiting room is clean and comfortable with lots of extra seating, it looks like they even have soft drinks and coffee available. Would definitely recommend, and will continue to use them when we have the need.
Precision Automotive came through for me in the clutch. I usually do my own repairs but encountered an unforseen issue right before a hernia surgery. I was stuck and laid up. My first search on Google and I find Precision. I called and talked to August, who was superb. Their team diagnosed the issue and repaired it, all for their original estimate and nothing more in less than 24 hours. But wait, there's more. I got a complete vehicle diagnostic and evaluation, including images. Excellent experience. Thank you again for helping me out in a pinch.
I just happen to find this shop and I am glad I did. I brought my 2004 C5 Corvette in for a transmission service. Jim took his time and made sure everything was done to spec made sure there were no leaks. I asked August(owner), if I could supply my own filter (Wix) and own transmission oil (AMSOIL). He replied, not a problem. I plan on going back for whatever work that I cannot do. When I looked into the garage, everyone was focused on what they were doing, that's where I want to go!!! I am super particular on who works on the car, I trust this place! Give them a try, you won't regret it!
