I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Precision People’s Car Repair. I brought my vehicle in specifically because the right turn signal was not working. Before taking it to the shop, I had already replaced the bulbs myself, and when that did not solve the problem, I suspected an electrical issue. I explained this clearly when I dropped the car off and specifically asked them to diagnose the electrical problem related to the turn signal. When I arrived, Brian informed me that every vehicle receives a diagnostic inspection. That seemed reasonable, especially if it would lead to identifying and repairing the turn signal issue. I dropped my car off at 9:30 a.m. on May 22 and did not receive a call until approximately 30 minutes before closing. When I arrived to pick it up, I was charged $250 for a diagnostic report. To my surprise, the report did not identify the turn signal issue at all—the very reason I brought the vehicle in. I was told there was no electrical problem and that the turn signal simply needed new bulbs. This was frustrating because I had already replaced the bulbs and had specifically informed them of that fact. I then learned that they had not removed any components necessary to thoroughly inspect the front turn signal wiring because doing so would require additional labor charges. My concern is not that additional labor may have been required. My concern is that no one contacted me during the day to explain that a proper diagnosis of the issue would require additional work and authorization. Instead, I was presented with a $250 bill at the end of the day and left with the same unresolved problem I arrived with. Fortunately, my regular mechanic eventually returned my call. I took the vehicle to him, and he quickly found the actual issue: an electrical fault behind the front right wheel well. The repair cost me $150 and immediately fixed the turn signal. Afterward, I called Brian and explained what had happened. He told me he would discuss the matter with the owner and call me back regarding a resolution. As of today, I have never received that call. I understand that diagnostics take time and that not every problem is immediately obvious. However, charging a customer $250 while failing to investigate the specific issue they requested, incorrectly concluding there was no electrical problem, and then failing to follow up after promising to do so is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Precision People’s Car Repair.

I just my mechanic of 26Years after I found out he's been doing some shoddy work for me !!! My transmission went out in my van and had to be towed to Precision People. It was close to closing time and Brian was waiting with a warm handshake and friendly smile. He had his guys push my vehicle inside to keep it safe. He reassured me that everything would be taken care of and I had no need to worry. I felt like I'd known him for years. To cut a long story short, my car was well taken of van and runs like a dream now. Thanks to Brian and his team 👍

This shop is a rip off BEWARE! I brought my car in for a brake and light inspection and instead of telling me my tires were bad and wouldn’t pass the inspection before hand. They charged me $373 for the inspections and then failed my car because my tread was too low. To add insult to injury, they charged me $163 for a retest. After consulting with another shop I was informed that it is customary for a shop to inform you before hand of visible issues that can cause a failure of state testing. Had they afforded me this common curtesy it would have saved me time and money on a retest. In my opinion, they are out to make money and don’t care about their customers. Even when I voiced my concerns I was told “well, we’ve done that in the past and people have left, fixed the issue and never came back”. This is clear evidence that making money off of people in need is more important than ethics to this shop. I would have gladly paid for the inspection upfront if missing out on the initial payment was the issue, more than anything I’m upset about the money grab culture of this place. Patronize this business at your own risk.

I am always impressed with the detailed work that this company puts into my car. They offer the dealer-type service by checking each area. When I had an electrical issue and none of the other car repair shops could figure it out, Luis, the leader of this company, was able to figure it out by taking time. I give five stars for their dedication and for the technique. However, I give 3 points to the effective communication. Sometimes they can back up services when a significant issue arises, delaying other cars from being serviced promptly. I prefer phone calls more often, so I know when the car service will be done.

I’ve been bringing all my cars here for the past couple of years, and the work has been incredible every time. The team is reliable, professional, and consistently delivers high-quality service. I wouldn’t trust my vehicles with anyone else. From oil changes to diagnostic testing they are my go to. Highly recommend
