Primavera

If you're in Oakland, Primavera is a must-visit. I always go for the "Mother Earth" sandwich, and it never disappoints. Even though I've lived in the Rockridge neighborhood for years, I've never been to this little place. It is always full of school kids. But today, I went because the kids are on break and it was empty. I looked over the menu, which has a variety of sandwiches for lunch and breakfast and smoothies and snacks galore. I decided to go simple and get a ham sandwich. It was pretty good. Could have made something similar at home. I would recommend because the people are VERY friendly.

But...First I'm stopping at the Primavera Delicatessen! I was on my way up to Broadway Terrace to pick up Foster Grant the Warthog, he's been kinda in the dumps because he's all alone, he's got his pitbull buddies Rayban and Maui Jim but it's not the same. What he needs is a date night, so I'm taking him back to Napa for a hook up with Rosie O' my girlie Warthog, he's gonna come back to Broadway Terrace in a month or so, he'll be all scarred up and sore but he'll have some stories to tell his pitbull buddies that's for sure! I'll tell you...that Primavera Delicatessen sure hits a homerun sandwich...I'm talking Grand Slam! 5 stars all day long! ☆☆☆☆☆

I've been going to primavera for lunch for a few months now. So far every sandwich I've tried has been delicious, the staff has been friendly and the wait has been short. Typically your order is ready within 5 minutes. Super fair and affordable prices, without sacrificing quality. I recommend this spot for sandwiches and more.
