I've had consistently great experiences with the accountants here as they're knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the front desk. The woman at reception, who I understand is the owner's wife, is consistently rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming. From her tone of voice to the way she speaks to clients, there's a clear lack of basic courtesy and professionalism. Every visit, my parents and I are met with a lack of basic courtesy that immediately sours the experience. As the first point of contact and the gatekeeper to the accountants, her demeanor makes it difficult to even want to walk through the door. It's disappointing because the quality of service beyond the front desk is solid, but customer experience starts the moment you arrive. At this point, her behavior alone is enough for me to take my business elsewhere.

Disrespectful Staff, Horrible Service. Absolutely terrible service. I submitted all my tax documents and never received a single call, email, or update. I had to chase them down myself just to find out if they even started. Completely unprofessional and careless. When I decided to take my documents and leave, the front desk lady (believe to be the wife of Mr. Son Nguyen) raised her voice at me and even cursed. Totally unacceptable and shocking behavior for any business. On top of that, they still tried to charge me a $50 cancellation fee - even though they had done nothing. I paid just to be done with them, but it's clear they have zero respect for their clients. Avoid this place at all costs. Save yourself the stress and find a tax service that knows how to treat people with basic professionalism and courtesy.

Today 3/19/2023, we came to do tax this office. The accountant was very nice to answer all questions to us. However, the wife was super rude and unprofessional. When we almost done, just to sign the check to pay, she went into the office and just wrapped our papers quickly and stated: " You are done, just go to the front to pay, there are many customers need to do". This was unprofessional and not value the customers and the employee at all. There was only one customer waiting when we came out side the office. This made us as a customer very unhappy and made us so upset about the wife attitude/behavior towards customers and employee. I heard many negative comments from my friends about the wife attitude. She is talking and acting like an uneducated person. Today, we witnessed ourselves about her. Very bad and we give 1 star.

Truly the worse place to conduct their business with Customers! I had incured huge losses from them for years 2021 over 20 to 50k total when they missed and calculated on 2 line items and his certified tax preparer can't read or know the difference on c1099 form on eReader stock selling? Just certain number add in wrong that cost me stress from irs mails constantly and unknown to.me irs and state franchise start garnishment to my Pacheco starting late 2022 to mid 2023 I can't recovered this huge $ loss to because reach irs is not existent while working . My wife Rachel out to.time and they keep.saying ot wasn't theirs but.y mistakes selling too.much stocks Only that year 2021 did this ever happens to.me because I've been filing taxes since 18 and this never happens! It was my 1st time doing business here because eqifeys friend recommended this place! Not ever again! I should have went to DVTsolutions on Mclaughlin instead since I had no issues for3 years with David Vu tax business Lastly, only Son 'CPA" himself admitted it was his fault for.not chekxinf.ore.into details why I had huge irs and Franchise boards due amount over 8.5k total! When my Wife showed David amended Irs c forms that im.getting back more than 2k not paying any brach of government for that year! For 3 long years I had irs mails keep saying had to pay more.and more certain amount! I see same.reviews on Yelp too and similar experience they did to their customers! Not certified , unprofessional, bad behaviors on Owner , his Wife, front desk and all no exp.rax preparer.! Using tax program is easy, just entered amount and numbers! But they must know year by years comparisons and itemized. Lines if theybknow.all tax codes and c forms and other sub forms Too much to show other customer but you get the picture. Do due diligence. On your past fax filing with them and comparisons your other years of why you had huge bills than Usual income thresholds under 100k to 200k for.family of 3 to 4 or 5. Be aware of this business conduct can cost yoy huge loses Hopefully David Vu can fix yours because he did.mine for 2021 and im.having.money back! 2022 and 2923 no issues with irs or state franchise tax board

I recommend people not to use the tax services at Son Nguyen CPA. The service is very poor and the charge is overpriced. I filed the tax here in 2014 because it's near my place. The owner (Son Nguyen) was too busy to answer the questions willingly. So I did not want to come back here and was looking for another CPA for my tax filing 2015. However, the day of my appointment was delayed because she was sick. Since I did not want to delay the tax filing, I decided to come back here again, and this caused me lots of problems I could not ever imagine. Before coming there, I checked the price with his person (his wife) and she said the price was the same if the tax information was similar to the previous year. When I came, I also had to adjust the tax filing of 2014 and one of his female employees said it was $50. After he filed the tax, the price was more than twice of the previous year ($276 in 2014 and $593 in 2015). I asked the guy why my business was the same but the price was so much higher. He looked at me and said "no bargain" here. Also, the adjusting fee was $80 instead of $50 as stated by his person before. I asked him again and he said he had another customer waiting, and I needed to make the payment to his wife. When I asked his wife questions about the payment, she asked me, "Why didn't you ask Mr. Son about this? I don't know about the price". When she called him and asked about the price, he said he was busy working with another customer. The way they did was extremely unprofessional and just like playing game with the customer by saying back and forth. I made all the payment because I did not want to argue and deal with cheap things like this. What I need to say here is that with the service they provide, it's not worth the money you pay. Also, the guy is working with you but just wants to finish quickly so he can work with another customer waiting for him. This is UNPROFESSIONAL and not respectful to customers.
