Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co. is a welcoming coffee shop in Fremont, CA, located at 4193 Cushing Pkwy, Fremont, CA 94538. It brings a Yemeni coffee experience to the Bay Area with a menu that feels both familiar and distinctive, making it an easy choice for coffee lovers, students, office workers, and friends looking for a comfortable place to meet. With a 4.4-star rating from more than 860 reviews, this Fremont cafe has built a strong local following for flavorful drinks, sweet treats, and a relaxed, social atmosphere.
The drinks are a major draw, especially for guests curious about coffee with deeper spice, aroma, and texture than a standard cafe menu. Customers mention Yemeni coffee, Adeni Latte, Iced Ameni, iced pistachio latte, chai, and iced matcha as memorable options, with several reviewers noting that the coffee tastes rich, layered, and different from what they usually find elsewhere. For those who like to share, full pots of chai are part of the experience, while single drinks make it easy to stop in for a quick pick-me-up.
Food and sweets help make Qamaria more than a grab-and-go stop. Reviewers point to displayed sweets and treats, saffron cake, milk bread options, snacks, and shawarma as reasons to stay a little longer. The mix works well for a casual breakfast, an afternoon study break, a small dessert outing, or a light meal near the office. Nothing about the cafe feels overly formal; it is the kind of place where a pastry, a warm drink, and a conversation can naturally stretch into a longer visit.
The atmosphere is one of the reasons locals keep returning. Guests describe the cafe as spacious, warm, aesthetic, and comfortable, with lots of seating for the Bay Area and a cozy fireplace area when you can catch an open spot. It is popular with students and laptop users, so tables can be hard to find during busy times, and some tables may be marked as no-laptop zones. That balance gives the space a useful rhythm: part study cafe, part social lounge, and part late-night coffee stop.
Service is also a recurring positive in customer feedback, with staff described as kind, patient, and helpful when guests have questions about unfamiliar drinks. Hours run from 8:00 AM to midnight most days, with Friday and Saturday extended to 1:00 AM, making Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co. especially convenient for early coffee, evening desserts, or a late gathering in Fremont, CA. If you want a coffee shop with distinctive Yemeni flavors, plenty of menu variety, and a welcoming place to sit, Qamaria is a strong local option.

Sign in to reviewI visited this café with a few friends for tea and snacks and had a really pleasant experience. The place has a relaxed vibe with plenty of seating, making it a nice spot to hang out with friends or even get some work done on your laptop. Just note that a few tables are designated as no-laptop zones. If you’re visiting, I highly recommend trying the Pistachio Latte and Adeni Tea—both were flavorful and unique. For desserts, the milk cake and chocolate cheesecake were delicious and paired perfectly with the drinks. Overall, it’s a great café to relax, chat, or spend a quiet afternoon.
On vaca in Cali, we tried this place on a whim. So thankful we did! The selection is unreal. Every coffee sounded so good. All their displayed sweets & treats looked amazing. I got an iced pistachio latte. It was AMAZING 😍! The staff was patient and kind (I asked a lot of questions). The vibe was relaxing yet the place was busy. You could tell some were regulars. We have another couple days here & we will definitely be back for more. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ☕⭐
Great spacious café, but usually packed with students studying, so open tables are rare. I got lucky with a spot by the fireplace! They have a nice aesthetic but note that the nice glass cups are only for full pots of chai, not single servings. Adeni Latte (5/5): Great flavor, though I wish it came in a real glass instead of plastic. Turkish Coffee (4.5/5): Strong and flavorful with great presentation. Just avoid the last quarter of the cup to miss the bitter grounds. Pistachio & Rose Milk Cakes: Incredible texture and flavor, just a bit on the pricier side.
Great little cafe near the office. First time having shawarma and Yemeni coffee and was very pleased. Food tasted great and they had a ton of options for milk bread as well. The coffee was delicious and full of flavors, very different than any other coffee I've tasted! Looking forward to coming back! Lots of people working and it was quite enough to have a conversation and enjoy our time.
It's rare to find somewhere with a warm atmosphere and lots of seating in the Bay, which is why Qamaria is 5/5 ⭐️ for me. I had the Iced Ameni, the Iced Matcha and the Saffron Cake. The service was also 5/5 ⭐, everyone working there was very kind. Iced Ameni: 4/5 ⭐️ I ordered this less sweet because I don't prefer very sweet drinks and I would order it sweetened next time. I think that because of how they premix the drink, my "less sweet" drink was pretty much completely unsweetened. There were some strong bitter notes that I didn't prefer, which is the only thing I would change. I'm interested in trying it again since nobody else mentions this in their reviews. I ended up adding sugar and it did help a bit. Iced Matcha: 4/5 ⭐️ The matcha seems pretty good quality but the ratio to milk is off. When mixed, the drink is very pale green. I would rather have gotten a smaller drink overall to maintain the matcha flavor. I ordered it normally sweetened and I definitely would get less sweet in the future. I think they have some room for improvement here. Saffron cake: 5/5 ⭐️ Very satisfying and delicious. The crumbs was nice and open and the cake was well saturated with liquid. I'm not sure if the flavor of saffron cake is typically stronger but I enjoyed the mild flavor regardless. The topping seemed similar to cool whip (but better) and I was a bit skeptical but it worked with the cake's light texture.
