I had the pleasure of meeting Angela in April while searching for a new stylist after my longtime Scottsdale stylist became less available due to starting a family. Angela exceeded my expectations. She carefully listened to what I wanted, studied the photo of the style I showed her, and thoroughly explained how she would achieve the look. Her attention to detail while cutting, texturizing, and styling my hair was wonderful. The final result was exactly what I hoped for. My long hair had long layers, volume, and a modern style. Several friends and family commented on how great my hair looked. If you’re looking for a stylist who truly listens and delivers the look you want, I highly recommend Angela. You’ll love the results!

I’ve been meaning to write this for a while, but I’m so glad I found Rachel’s Hair Salon after moving to Arizona. I originally found them when I wanted to get Japanese hair straightening. However, after evaluating my hair, they told me it wasn’t ready due to previous processing and recommended waiting for the health of my hair. I was still happy as I was able to get a conditioning treatment that day. I truly appreciated their honesty and professionalism. I returned for a Tanino treatment, which is a more natural alternative a few months later, and it helped strengthen my hair. Once my hair was healthy enough, I went back for Japanese straightening and I am so glad I listened to their advice. Each time, my hair has come out beautiful, smooth, and so much easier to manage. I have 3C Afro-Asian mixed-texture hair, and from my very first visit they knew exactly how to care for it and which treatments would be best. Rachel and her team really take the time to evaluate your hair before treating it. They are knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming, and the salon is always clean and comfortable. I genuinely look forward to making the drive out there to see them, and I will absolutely continue going while I’m here in Arizona. Highly recommend!
Angela has cut my daughter’s hair twice and she’s done amazing each time. I’ve wasted $120+ on haircuts from “high end” salons but Ive gotten way better results here. Highly recommend Angela for hair cuts! I will never go anywhere else :)
