I'll be honest the shared table setup intimidated me a little at first. But the moment the ramen arrived, I completely forgot about that. It was SO good. The broth was incredible, and you could really taste the care and quality in every single ingredient. Everything was perfectly prepared. Definitely coming back!

This place was really, really good! It was a little different from my normal because of the counter-serve aspect and the seating is mostly communal. That being said, it was very comfortable and not awkward. I came in by myself and I sat at the end of a table with 6 or 7 other people (mostly couples) and, to my surprise, I didn't have any anxiety about sitting with "strangers". I really enjoyed the experience. The food was phenomenal. I had the OG with a spicy bomb, extra noodles and the Naruto Maki. It was right at $20. That's more than their average. I wanted the first time to be a Cadillac experience (and it was). The flavors were perfect, textures adventurous and the portions filling. Most def recommend it and will be back. Of note: i have a friend that is allergic to sesame and MSG. I wanted to check, for future reference, to see if they could achieve "no MSG and no sesame". They looked it up and they couldn't find a combination of ingredients that had neither ingredient... Still amazing! I just wanted to let you allergy sufferers know.

We had a great dinner experience at the Ramen Tatsu-ya (North Austin)! The atmosphere here is lively and energetic- the place is constantly buzzing with activity. Despite how busy it was, we were impressed with the speed; we got our order in less than 10 minutes, which is amazing. RAMEN was enjoyable and solid- quite comparable to other good ramen spots. CHASHU RICE BOWL was tasty and the perfect size for a satisfying, smaller dinner. STRAWBERRY YUZU LEMONADE was refreshing and perfectly balanced, definitely not too sweet. They also offer a great selection of adult beverages, including beer and hot sake. The dishes are very reasonably priced. (We noticed the music playlist was certainly interesting, varying from Pimpinela to Hum, which just added to the unique vibe!)

This is the second best ramen I have ever tried (#1 still my boy chef Enrique from El Charlatan). Everything was good , the birria small tacos were exceptional. The OG Tonsutko was so creamy and smooth. Price was very much in range for high quality ramen.
