Always enjoy stopping by here. The cardamon Kouign-Amann is great. Get in early before they are gone. The servers are friendly and fast, although it gets crowded and that can slow down the line. That is the problem when your place is so good and popular!

The ladies at the counter were very polite. I had let them know it was my first time stopping by and the were very patient as I selected my items. I got the honey lavender latte and the tomato, egg with goat cheese biscuit. 😋 The interior gives off a very indie kind of whimsical vibe. I especially loved all the plants everywhere, I didn't realize I could purchase some of the plants too until I was looking and saw the price tags on them along with the art I believe. At first when you walk and it looks like a very small seating area, but then when I came around the corner I saw a whole nother seating area inside down the stairs. It was very spacious. Definitely will stop by again the next time I'm in the Falls Church area.

the coffee is okay, matcha tastes premade. the atmosphere is incredible but unfortunately customer service is lacking. baristas chat among themselves with their backs turned before even noticing a customer, take incredibly long when making drinks, and overall have a weird attitude when being asked a question or when ordering 🤷‍♀️ EDIT: im unable to stomach whole milk which is why i ordered and paid for oat milk with my latte. they served it with whole milk despite it, customers be diligent and make sure you're served exactly what you asked for

Whenever our office needs a late afternoon pick-me-up, a cappuccino or hot cocoa from Rare Bird does the trick! Always delicious, with friendly staff, local art, and great vibes.

Had the wildest story! Met one of my friend’s sisters here after asking about her pro-Palestinian shirt and became friends with her. Had a great time; very kind people come here. Highly recommend it for the atmosphere and coffee. They even roast their own onsite!
