I ordered the Italian sandwich and a side. The bread was excellent and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully put together. While it leaned a bit lighter on the traditional Italian punch (I missed that vinegary zing), it was still a very solid, high-quality sandwich. The real standout for me was the bean salad, bright, bold, and absolutely bursting with flavor. The space itself is airy and welcoming, clearly run by pros who know what they’re doing. Buzzing with lunchtime energy and full of happy sandwich-seekers, this spot feels like a true neighborhood lunch gem.

I love this old Italian deli In Old Oakland. The sandwiches are great. I like that you can get your sandwich on an Acme baguette if you like for an extra 30 cents. Well worth it. This is the best deli in Oakland. 👍👍

The sandwiches are good, but unfortunately just average. I was hoping for something more unique for the price I paid. Honestly I could get this sandwich anywhere. The store however did offer an assortment of all kinds of Italian cuisine, which was great. I just thought it was a bit overpriced.

I stumbled upon these sandwiches while walking around Oakland. It’s a very traditional place with many years in the area. I didn’t know what to order because all the sandwiches looked great. The one I chose was delicious. Everything is fresh and tasty, and the service is excellent. If you go at lunchtime, it will be busy, but they are quick to serve.

Stopped here for an iced coffee with oatmilk and vanilla and it was very good. I also have had a sandwich from here before which are reasonably priced for the area and I think provide a decent amount of food for a lunch choice. The ordering system is a little odd with the papers but it adds a nice feel to it too.
