This was my first visit here and it was impressive!!! Atnosphere, sevi e and the food! Most impressive part was the food- amazing tastes and flavors, fresh veg sides, amazing accompanying sides such as pickled garlic and peppers. The whole menu looks amazing and I wish I had a second stomach so I could eat more!!! Second to the food, bit not far behind was the service. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Family owned and really nice. This restaurant will DEFINITELY be on the favorites list!!!
Re Tre makes a quiet statement about authenticity, resilience, and Vietnamese heritage. I’ve eaten there under its former name and was glad to see it return. The atmosphere feels elevated but the lamps could use a good dusting. The service was punctual, attentive, and friendly. The food was very good, but I compare it to Dan Da which is 5 stars in my book. I feel like Re Tre is a bit more savory with its food preparation than Dan Da, which has a touch of sweetness to it. The bottom line is Re Tre is a solid choice for Vietnamese cuisine and you’ll have a very good meal.
I went on a double date at Re Tre which means bamboo root in Vietnamese today for dinner. The restaurant is new and took over the spot that New Saigon was at. The interior is very nice and it has an upscale casual type of feel to it as well as the service. We got the Blushing Lotus and Pandan After Dark for drinks and the former was pretty light on the alcohol while the latter had a very strong pandan taste. Keep these in mind when ordering! For food, we got the Re Tre Cuõn Bang Trang (family rice paper wrap) and Cánh Gà Nuóc Măm Me (tam chili wings). The chili wings were very good. They were crispy, well marinated, and clearly fried fresh. The family rice paper wrap was very overpriced in my opinion. It was good but priced too high. They also charged us $5 for extra vegetables which I thought was ridiculous as we were not even notified. Service was decent enough. Our server seemed pretty new and wasn’t too sure about the menu. He was nice and attentive with the help of other servers.
Great customer service as usual. As they just recently opened expect it to be busy. The food quality is just as similar as it was back then if not very similar to Dan Da. The presentation is just different but overall the food was delicious. Great Vietnamese food.
It was certainly a big loss for the Denver food scene when the famed New Saigon Vietnamese Restaurant closed a few years ago. Despite the Nguyễn sisters opening Dan Da and Banh & Butter in Aurora to fill the void, still felt the loss of the …
