River Oaks Thai Massage

I had the best massage I’ve ever had at River Oaks Thai Massage. I initially thought I wanted a female therapist, as that’s what I usually request, but the front desk paired me with Matt, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I booked a sports massage, and Matt suggested a combination massage so I could still get the assisted stretching that was most important to me while incorporating traditional Thai massage techniques. His recommendation was spot on. I’ve been getting massages for years, and this was hands down the best one I’ve ever had. Matt was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and skilled. Before my appointment, I had been dealing with persistent tightness in my lower back from my hefty workout schedule. Even with regular chiropractic care, I hadn’t experienced the level of relief I got from this massage. My back hasn’t bothered me at all since my appointment, and it’s now been about a week. I’ll definitely be making a standing appointment with Matt and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an exceptional massage. I’ll be back later this month!

I've had a few massages here and they were all great. I had Nikki the other day and she really helped get rid of the knots and tension in my shoulders and neck. I'll definitely be booking another appointment with her in the future. There's no parking lot, so you'll want to arrive a few minutes early to find street parking.

A very lovely place and everyone is so nice. Harry was my therapist and he did a good job. The only things I would say is the room was cold and when I turned on my back I realized the fan was on so he turned it off for me. When he first started off very good but it’s like at most parts of my body he spent way too much time like very repetitive if that makes sense. I counted like 20 times doing the same thing at each sections of my body so I didn’t like that because it took up time he could have used on my feet. I was still relaxed but wish he would've listened to my wants more. For example, I told him I wanted to focus a lot on my feet and Achilles tendon neck shoulders and left arm. He did the neck and shoulders pretty good, but he didn’t spend much time on my arms like I would’ve liked or my feet. The hot stones were great and at the very end I asked him to use the hot stones on the pressure points of my neck and shoulder areas to go into the muscle deeper, but he said let me put a hot pad that’s better for you. Well, that’s not want I asked for and I didn’t like that. Overall, I Gave him a good tip because I liked his energy and he was friendly. I will be back and they have like 7-9 oversized beds to accommodate If you’re having a girlfriends day out massage, couple massage, etc.

Had an amazing experience here. I came in feeling really tight and left feeling like a completely new person. Huge thanks to Da, great pressure, very professional, and really focused on the areas I mentioned, especially my calves. Also shoutout to Lili at the front desk for being kind and welcoming. The place is clean, relaxing, and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend if you’re looking to unwind and reset.

My husband and I have come here together before and he enjoyed it so much he would come on his own. But we went in today for a couples massage for valentines and had added the body scrub deal on vagaro their booking app. So they got us into the room and then I asked what scents they had for the scrub and they had not realized we had added it. So they just brought in a scrub without asking what we wanted. Then proceeded to say they only have this apple/orange scrub. So we were like fine. That whole process had to have take at least 5-10mins. Then they did the massage/scrub and said ok go take a shower. I was like man that 60mins went fast. Then I looked at the clock when we got back to change (10-13mins later) and it wasnt even 1pm yet. That means they didnt do a full 60mins. We basically paid an extra $30 for the scrub and got only a maybe 35-40min massage. We didnt even see them again. So thoroughly disappointed and wont be going back. I also still tipped and am regretting that... Wont be going back.
