I’ve been going to Rooted Mane for the past six years, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t trust my hair to anyone else. I have my roots colored, highlights, and haircuts done by the owner, Liz, and she always does an amazing job. I’m someone who is constantly looking to change up my hair, and I’m notorious for coming in with a ton of pictures and new ideas. Somehow, Liz always finds a way to give me the look I’m going for, even with my thick, wavy hair! She listens to what I want, offers great advice, and somehow manages to turn my sometimes questionable ideas into hair I absolutely love. The entire team at Rooted Mane is talented, professional, and welcoming, and all of the stylists do great work. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and take pride in what they do. After six years, I’m still just as happy with my experience as I was when I first walked through the door. I highly recommend Rooted Mane and Liz!
Services are booked for a specific amount of time. If you have thick hair - add the "thick mane" option to your booking for full highlights. If you don't, the stylist simply won't have enough time to deliver a result that meets expectations. I also thought the haircut was fast and somewhat average for the price point. Otherwise, the salon is a nice space, clean, and the stylist was friendly.
I’m not a fan of taking the time to get my hair done, but this place is different. I love going here! It is so relaxing. I’m serious! The lighting, the water (with ice or without :), the heated and weighted blanket while I get my hair washed, the kindness from everyone. Ashley is a master at blending and listening and making my hair look and feel natural.
Adore this salon. I have been seeing Natalie for just over a year and couldn't be happier with my cut and color. Scheduling is easy and straightforward thanks to Rebecca. Always a treat when I go in!
Natalie was kind. But she was flustered and rushed when applying my highlights. She needed much guidance to blend my dark brunette hair with grey roots and was not very communicative with me during, or even about, the process.
