Ever since Bonnie retired, this agency has been suffering. It use to be the best. I miss Bonnie, she was the glue and could fix any problem. I’ve been with this agency for almost a decade for both renters and auto. It is EXTREMELY overpriced. I’m in the process of switching and it will be over $300/month I will be saving. All of this I found out because I couldnt get someone to quote me my address change since I was moving. They predated it and authorized the change without telling me the cost difference. When I asked the cost difference, I was told everything was changed back to the previous address and that it was my responsibility to update my address the day of. I have been treated very rudely with minimal respect. Sure sent a message about how much they care about your loyalty or business—not at all. I tried again calling this time and was assured it wouldn’t be an issue. I was emailing back and forth then got told I needed to call as that agent was too busy. Im not even sure that these agents were relaying the message that I wanted to speak with Rosa Alba. Its been over a week since I emailed the owner for some kind of resolution, Rosa Alba has not responded to several emails or calls. I use to always recommend this agency but I will not any longer. I figured the owner would want to know that one of their most loyal customers was having issues and needed assistance with something simple.

I've always had good communication with the Renton, WA office. Anytime I've needed to change anything or had any questions they have been prompt to answer them. We had an accident back in January of this year and one call to the office got everything rolling. They made sure I had all the phone numbers and names I needed to get everything resolved as quickly as possible. The Renton office even called me back several times to make sure that things were running smoothly for me. They really cared about what happened to us. My car was totalled and they walked me threw everything that I needed to do. When it came time to insure the new car, all it took was a phone call. I really feel like they are family friends to us.

Highly recommend this place. I'm a new customer and looking into an insurance coverage for my new business. I worked with Nicole and it was a great experience. She is very helpful, kind, and responsive. She found me an affordable coverage for my business.

Unprofessional, Unresponsive, and Costly Mistakes I switched to the Rosalba Insurance Agency earlier this year after being promised reasonably stable rates and good service. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite. Shortly after signing up, one policy’s premium increased by 18% due to a quoting error. I let that slide as the actual dollar amount was low, but then I was hit with a shocking 72% increase on another policy. Despite contacting the agency repeatedly via email and phone, it took Bonnie—my agent—a full month to finally respond and admit that she used a quoting calculator that was five years out of date. Fast forward a few months, and when I asked for a quote on a new vehicle, the price came back 2.2x higher than what I was initially ball-park quoted when I was considering switching agencies to this one. Once again, Bonnie went silent, and it wasn’t until I escalated the issue to the agency owner, Rosalba, that I got a response. Unfortunately, Rosalba proved just as unreliable. Despite her promise to “make things right,” she never followed through, offering only excuses instead of solutions. In the end, it turned out the drastic price increase wasn’t a company-wide adjustment as claimed by Rosalba—it was clearly yet another mistake by this agency. This agency has demonstrated a lack of competence, reliability, and basic communication. Three errors in just a few months, all with increasingly significant financial consequences for me, as well as below sub-par communication response times, have made it clear that this agency is overwhelmed and unable to provide the service they promise. If you’re considering American Family Insurance, I strongly urge you to avoid this agency and look elsewhere.

Worked with Bonnie here for over 10yrs, she is outstanding and treats us like we are her family. I’ve had devastating claims within this period and she has been upfront, honest, and supportive through those times. This is a priceless characteristic that I’ve found at no other insurance company. Bonnie always gets me the maximum coverage for the best price. THANK GOODNESS FOR BONNIE!!!!
