I booked a facial for my boyfriend and myself since it had been a while since we’d had a proper self-care day and our skin could really use some attention. Ruby is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, and she takes the time to explain each part of the process so you understand what’s being done and why. I’ve had facials in the past where the esthetician offered little to no feedback, but Ruby is the opposite. She shared her observations, gave thoughtful advice, and explained how to maintain results at home. The skin brighting microdermabrasion facial left my skin feeling soft and glowy. The space itself is warm, cozy, and inviting. I felt completely relaxed sipping tea while I waited for my boyfriend’s facial to finish.

Rubyz day spa is a warm , beautiful and cozy place with a very pretty decor! Ruby did my facial and exactly knew what my skin needed! She recommended and applied the right products and I could feel the difference in the first facial itself! I got the ultimate facial done by Ruby and it really was ULTIMATE!! Its a must visit for folks who are worried about their sensitive skin and the products that spas usually use.. i personally have a sensitive skin , but the products did wonders on my skin truly !!! If you're reading reviews trying to decide which spa to choose, then you have found the one! I had been feeling fatigued, stressed and just not myself so decided some self care was needed. After reading the reviews, I booked an appointment at Rubyz for the following day. Unfortunately that was more than enough time for life to sneak up on me and shake things up a bit but we must and shall persevere. It wasn't my plan to walk into the spa for my appointment completely rattled with enough stress hormones flowing to charge a Tesla, but that's what happened. I was greeted by Ruby in the lobby whom offered water, a moment of calm, valuable wisdom and some needed hugs. Coincidentally and keeping on theme, I had booked the Meltdown Renewal Escape spa package and we began the 3 hour appointment with the 80 minute Meltdown Facial. The Meltdown facial included cleansers, moisturizers, masks, light and cold therapy, massage, spot treatments for blemishes, hot towels, massage with occasional reminders from Ruby that this is my time to relax. Of note was a spicy blueberry/pepper/paprika face mask that gave a tingly tightening sensation. I may have still been feeling tense but my skin surely wasn't showing it anymore. Given a plush robe and slippers, I made my way to the massage room for my 60 minute Meltdown Massage. The gifted masseuse intuitively knew exactly where my stress hid and how to melt it away. She ushered out any lingering tension with her skilled use of hot stones. The following hot oil scalp massage delivered the final blow to any remaining remnants of the tangled, tightly wound persona that entered the spa 2 1/2 hours earlier. The only thing troubling me after coming out of the relaxing trance state that I had drifted into was that I had gone my entire life without knowledge of hot oil scalp massages. Rubyz Day Spa is so skilled and talented in their chosen craft that in 3 hours they completely transformed my state of being. I'm fairly certain that a personal meltdown is *not* a prerequisite to fully experience the magic of the Meltdown Renewal Escape, so go ahead and treat yourself! If you choose to book a different spa package or some of the many other services please be sure to include the hot oil scalp massage. If you've never had one, it's a must!
