I cannot explain how much I love this place. It's a hole in the wall, but that's often where the best food comes from. I'll never go anywhere else for a banh mi. The bread is perfect: crispy outside, almost gooey inside. Generous helpings of whichever protein you get plus loaded with perfectly balanced veggies (both pickled & raw), spices & lots of cilantro. Even if you get tofu, it's so well-seasoned that you don't know it's not meat. (I also get the shredded chicken and shredded pork versions. Also perfectly seasoned. And only $6!!!) It's not the closest place to me so I order 2 at a time when I go so I can enjoy it over 2 days. I haven't tried any of the hot bar items but they look delicious, as well. Definitely recommend.
I haven’t been back here in a while and I was nearby, so I decided to stop by. My favorite was the Nem Nướng Cuốn and Bánh Patê Sô. The worst thing we had was their bánh mì and Bún Thịt Nướng Chả Giò. The grilled pork in both dishes was dry and the flavor was just lacking. Their grilled pork and the cashier’s customer service needs some improvement.
This place has a large selection of food. They have it all if you’re looking for deli, sweets, snacks, or lunch items. The lady staff are wonderful! They stand by to help you and the ring-up is very quick too. So you can be in and out in no time. I always stop by on my way up north.
I've been going to The Saigon Deli for years. I think I purchased just about everything on the menu. My daughter loved the shrimp in the 1/2 pint dish. I'd love to get those fresh spring rolls with whatever I buy. Such as the beef soup with …
The location was great. Friendly service I haven’t been back in a few years but glad I did stop in. I usually buy 10 sandwiches or more when I stop in and get some tofu sandwiches. I always get chicken ones and request extra veggies. The bread is always great with a perfect amount of cilantro, carrots one jalapeno and radishes. I got chicken sandwiches his time and a bun that was fried and am not a fan of it. I stick to the sandwiches and coffee. The place was pretty busy on a weekday around 2ish. The parking was on the backside, and there was plenty of parking. We did notice some people that were a bit shady outside of the place but it’s Seattle what can I say. They are pretty fast to make sandwiches and I will be going back there again .
