Incredibly disappointed. This restaurant identifies as a Vietnamese eatery with a modern take, it appears this means making this classic Vietnamese sandwich a salty mess. Let’s take a few steps back and recap my experience. I ordered a double meat ribeye banh mi and it was incredibly lacking for the 20 plus dollars they charge. Firstly, I would consider this to be an average amount of protein for a regular sandwich, for a nearly 7 dollar add on this was disappointing. Secondly, the beef was overly salty and the texture resembled jerky. I’ve eaten plenty of cheap traditional banh mi’s with questionable meat, and they have all blown this out of the water. The bread, almost as important as the meat in an banh mi, was only marginally better than the aforementioned jerky. The bread lacked the traditional crusty exterior that one has come to expect with a banh mi, essentially falling apart when the sandwich was picked up. I picked up the sandwich up within 10min of ordering so it wasn’t sitting out causing any of the above issues. Overall, I would suggest everyone avoid this restaurant, unless you are a masochist craving disappointment.

3⭐ The place is very nice. Plenty of seating inside and outside. We got our order out quickly and the food was tasty but I wasn't super impressed. Not sure if it was just the flavor or what but I felt it should be better for the price you are paying.

I love asian food and am always on the hunt to great places and this one is one of the best if not the best in town. The egg-rolls are the BEST of all of Houston. It took me years to find them and here they are! Finally 🫶🏽. Try them with the peanut sauce.

I had put off trying this restaurant for years now, and I finally had the opportunity to swing by. They have a couple locations, but I just so happened to be in Spring Branch and thought I’d give them a try Even from the exterior this place looks trendy and inviting. There is parking, it’s not a huge parking lot, but it should accommodate all the seating inside The interior is pristine and everything has its place. The interior is also very trendy. The menu is clearly posted above the order counter. They have quite a variety of classic/popular Vietnamese dishes (pho, banh mi, vermicelli bowls, spring rolls, wings, etc The staff were very friendly and professional. We ordered at the counter and they brought our meal to us in a timely manner Everything tasted delicious. The flavors were on point, the portions were hearty, and the plating/appearance were appealing. We did notice that the menu described the banh mi as being served on a crispy bun, and the baguette/hoagie roll was delicious, but it definitely wasn’t crispy. It could have just been the day Some tips: They have sriracha if you want/need it… and for me, I always need it (love it). I had some friends visit soon after this locations opening, and they had an event coming in, and they offered my friends some extra food and actually gave them a gift card because my friends mentioned they were getting married soon. All this to say, this location is very hospitable Cheers!!

Stick to Bánh mì, alphabet soup and spring rolls. Came around 7ish on a Wednesday to eat some PHO with my son. We ordered 2 beef pho's and two waters. Paid about 33 dollars with no tip. The bowls came with withered greens on the side plate. Ok here we go.... PROS: The meat in the pho was good. The brisket was thick and had flavor. The raw round meat was good. Big pieces. Noodles were ok. I think they were preheated. BECAUSE THE BROTH WAS NOT HOT.😫 CONS: THE BROTH: MAN! I ordered the beef pho. This is the most BLAND tasted broth. I've ever had. Pictures don't lie. ICE COLD BROTH: 🥶 The pho came in a metal bowl. Metal looks cool. But draws out heat through conduction. Basic science 101. Side note: I used the drive thru and couple weeks back. Got a pork Bánh mì and an alphabet soup. The sandwich was hot and full of flavor and the soup was off the chain. 1000٪ more flavor than the beef pho. Ill be coming back for sandwich and soup. 🙏🏽 FYI. I've eaten at alot vietnamese restaurants looking for the perfect PHO. Eat well my friends 🙏🏽
