Sign in to reviewOrdered vegetarian sandwich. Cashier explicitly asked if I am vegetarian and I replied yes. Got home and sandwich was covered in the pate that was supposed to go on husband’s pork belly sandwich - it was missing from his. Also ordered to taro boba smoothies and they forgot to put the boba (although fixed before we left). Prices were good and the cashier was friendly, but major screw up on the order so recommend checking everything before you leave.
New ownership opened 6/9/2024. Running a great special buy 2 get 1 free. So we got 3 sandwiches for $17. Recommend the bbq pork and meatball over the house special. Only 2 tables so take your food to go. Thick crispy baguettes. My partner says they put something in it for flavor he hasn’t had on others and loves it. Said it’s one of the better spots in the area and will be the go-to place until we find another. Helps it is open later than other shops nearby. Also serve boba, Thai iced tea, and other beverages
I enjoyed a beef banh mi from this Vietnamese eatery. The only thing was when I ordered it, I thought it was going to be pieces of grilled beef, like the picture showed and the way the BBQ pork comes, but the beef was more like sliced meatloaf. The banh mi was good however, just a little on the dry side, the meat that is, but it was well seasoned and tasty. The the sandwich came with fresh Julienned carrots and daikon, fresh sliced jalapenos, and cucumbers. It came garnished with fresh cilantro sprigs, but was missing a spritz of fish sauce. The French baguette was great and are baked in house. I think they should offer a side of fish sauce and/or a hot sauce with the banh mi sandwiches. The service was friendly. They offer a small amount of inside seating but none outside. They offer a large amount of banh mi sandwiches and milk tea beverages.
I don’t mind mind driving from far away to come and get not only their freshly made sandwiches but also their delicious coffees. Service is super friendly and quick. Totally recommend
This Vietnamese sandwich shop is under new ownership so we came to check out their grand opening special of free drink and bánh mì que with social media post. Upon coming in, we were greeted right away. We saw there were several other customers inside eating regular bánh mì. There are about 3-4 small tables inside with stools to sit on. The shop looked clean and menus were easy to read. Service was very friendly and the lady recommended her favorite the fresh fruit tea, but sadly they were sold out. We got the Thai tea and milk tea with boba instead. She was nice enough to throw in free fried shrimp for us The Thai tea was decent, but the star was the milk tea. Usually milk tea has a black tea base, but this one was fragrantly jasmine and delicious! The bánh mì que is a new style of sandwich that is shorter and skinnier. It was filled with a good amount of char siu meat and veggies. Based on the quality of these items, I’d come back to try their regular bánh mì if I was in the area and craving it.
