Haircuts and styling are among the services customers mention most. Reviewers praise Christina for careful cuts and polished styling, and describe her as friendly and professional. Several customers also point to the salon’s experience with thick Asian hair, including thick, wavy textures that can be challenging to find a good match for. If you have struggled to find a stylist who listens to your needs and understands your hair’s texture, Salon Joa may be worth considering. Individual results depend on your hair and the service you choose, so sharing your preferences and discussing your goals before a cut can help set clear expectations.

Customers also mention color services, with one longtime guest returning to Marina for cuts and color over a period of two years. Another reviewer highlights eyebrow waxing with Jo, alongside a haircut and styling appointment. These first-hand accounts suggest the salon can be an option for people who want to take care of more than one grooming need in a visit. Reviews also describe the prices as affordable and the overall atmosphere as pleasant, though costs may vary by service.
