I've been seeing Christina since 2015 because she is amazing! She has always taken care of my hair so it stays as healthy as possible and listens to what I want to do and achieves it. I value her input because she has the knowledge and experience, and with that she has made my hair look so good. Christina is someone you can easily talk to, friendly, and communicates really well. Also, the actual salon is so beautifully kept, really cozy and inviting.

Christina "nina" is a wonderful hair colorist! I came to her with the most crazy mix of colors between purple ends and grown out roots and bleached middle sections and she was able to get me back to even and beautiful hair. She is knowledgeable and dependable and does a great job helping you understand what's realistically achievable while maintaining the integrity of your hair. Not to mention - the salon is super cute, clean, and convenient! I never have a hard time finding parking and there's a coffee place right across the street. I love this place and my hair always looks amazing after Nina does it :)

I get my highlights and haircuts done by Ashley, and I can’t say enough good things about her. She truly takes her time and always makes me feel so taken care of. I trust her completely with my highlights. The salon is always clean, welcoming, and in such a cool spot in DTSA, which makes every visit feel a little special.

Nina Marin is the best! She has been doing my hair for over 10 years now and she knows my hair better than I do! I’ve shared with her that I’m not the best at styling my hair, so she always sends me away with some tips and tricks and a low maintenance cut that I LOVE every time. Nina is extremely knowledgeable and has always been super honest and realistic when I’ve had different hair ideas, especially with color. She will recommend the smoothest and safest route for your hair so that it stays healthy, but also so you get the results you want. I don’t trust anyone else with my hair! The salon itself is cute, clean, and cozy. There is plenty of parking and it’s easy to find so that’s a plus. Nina rocks!

I have been coming to Nina for almost 5 years and she has transformed my hair! Not only is she the kindest and most genuine human I have ever met, she has a passion for what she does and genuinely puts her clients needs, goals, and comfort first. Her skills are obvious in the outcome of her work - she truly is the best of the best! She takes her time to make sure you are both on the same page and align in your goals. I never loved my hair until I met Nina. Bonus - through the years, she has become a close friend - what a gift! Salon Sycamore is the coziest and most welcoming space. Nina and Ashley are the ultimate duo and truly have created the most beautiful, warm, and safe space for their clients. It feels like you are getting your hair done at home!
