The menu is focused rather than sprawling, and diners say that choosing a different dish on each visit is part of the appeal. Fish is a standout: reviewers mention pompano, snapper, and milkfish as tasty options. Filipino favorites include pancit, palabok, halo-halo, and pork lumpia, with rice dishes also mentioned by customers. The selection can vary, so the menu may offer a chance to discover something different rather than a long list of standardized choices. Whether you already know these dishes or are trying them for the first time, the specific recommendations from returning guests make it easier to decide what to order.
The atmosphere sounds personal and relaxed, more like a small local shop than a fast-food restaurant. One reviewer describes it as a one-person operation and advises visitors to allow a little extra time; other customers praise the service and say the food is worth waiting for. That unhurried pace may suit people who value freshly prepared food and a direct, friendly experience over a quick, predictable meal. Filipino American guests have also shared that the shop's food and layout bring back childhood memories, while others visit to enjoy Filipino dishes with family and friends. It is a good option for a casual lunch, a takeout meal, or a first taste of Filipino cooking.

Come with time to enjoy the meal, and consider returning to try another fish or Filipino specialty.

This place is truly a hidden gem. The menu is limited but what she has is super delicious. I try a different fish each time. The pompano, snapper and milkfish is so tasty. My wife loves the pancit. I frequent this place often. She is a one-woman shop so expect a little wait. Food is worth it! Get your ethnic groceries while waiting. Enjoy!
We love this Filipino shop and carryout! My Filipino husband picks up lunch for us here almost every week, and it never disappoints. The food is authentic, fresh, and absolutely delicious, with a great variety of dishes to choose from. …
Delicious Philipino food!!!!! Went in today with my philipina friend and we had pancit of course, halo halo, pork lumpia, palabok and another pork rice and egg dish that I can't remember lol. It was all delicious. This is NOT fast food people... This is not something you go and order on your 30 min lunch break... Call and order ahead!!! She prepares everything fresh and while it is a wait, it is worth it! If you have never had Phillipino food, and you are not sure what to try, try the pancit first and get some lumpia. Unfortunately, there is only one table to sit at so this is not a dine in restaurant. I have high hopes and sending them many blessings!!! I will be back for more!
