San Leandro Health Care Center is a nursing home at 368 Juana Ave in San Leandro, California, serving residents and families looking into residential nursing care in the East Bay. The address is in the 94577 area, which can help people researching nursing-home choices close to San Leandro and nearby communities. The center is listed as open 24 hours a day, every day of the week. This round-the-clock listing gives families a local point of contact when they need to ask about a current stay, a potential transition, or a visit. Before making arrangements, it is sensible to contact the facility directly to confirm its current admissions process, availability, visiting expectations, and any care needs it is equipped to accommodate.

Nursing-home decisions involve more than an address or hours. San Leandro Health Care Center may be relevant to people seeking a facility in San Leandro, CA, rather than one farther from relatives or familiar surroundings. The supplied listing does not describe specialized programs, individual clinical services, room types, meals, or activities, so prospective residents should not assume that these options are available. A direct conversation with the center can clarify how it handles daily routines, communication between staff and families, rehabilitation needs after a hospital stay, and other priorities that matter to the prospective resident. Families can also ask how care plans are discussed and updated as needs change.

Public feedback should also be weighed carefully. San Leandro Health Care Center has a 2.7-out-of-5 rating based on 20 posted reviews. The sample reviews present a largely critical picture, though one reviewer said most nurses and doctors were nice. Other reviewers described concerns about staff availability, shared rooms, response to residents' immediate needs, cleanliness, odors, hot-water problems, communication, and the handling of personal belongings. These are accounts of individual experiences rather than verified findings about every stay. Still, they point to practical topics that deserve clear answers from the facility before a family selects a nursing home in San Leandro, California.

An in-person visit and a detailed conversation can help families assess whether this setting matches their expectations. Since the public comments raise questions about support and care experience, prospective residents or advocates may want to ask who handles admissions, how concerns are escalated, what room arrangements may be available, and how the center communicates about changes in a resident's condition or belongings. Observing the environment, asking about hygiene and maintenance practices, and confirming details in writing can support a more informed choice. For local searches for a nursing home in San Leandro, CA, this address and its around-the-clock listed hours are useful starting details; current care and availability should always be confirmed directly.

The lady named Shirley who is the person that do admissions very rude very angry. Very mad all the time most nurses and doctors were very nice. They just didn’t have the time. Too many patients in one room and not enough help. My Niece was so miserable and she was dying at the time and all they did was complain about her being a difficult patient. Well, if you was dying from cancer and in pain, you would be frustrated as well please don’t send your loved ones there.

Unless you absolutely despise someone, do not send them here. Patient neglect occurs often, everyday. ongoing hot water problems, problems with cleanliness and odors. I’m stuck here until i can get my doctor to order home health and PT and once that is done, I am gone. I can provide better, more sanitary care for my healing surgical sites than they do.

My mother passed away, within one week, All of her belongings were gone not to be found. No one contact me to come pic them up. They allow people to come clean out your loved ones belongings and Do not contact you to pick them up. These people are pocketing the items they want. The staff will place you on hold and give you the run around for days. The administration is nonchalant, because they have no clue who is going into whose room doing what. Theft of property problems at SanLeandro health care facilities. Please do not bring valuables.

unfortunately i had a very negative experience with one of the nurses named Erica outside of the hospital. im assuming before her shift she was attempting to parking across the street of her work place and backed into a car that was parked. instead of leaving any information for the poor owner of that car she decided to leave the scene and walk towards the health center after fumbling around in her car for awhile(which I have a picture of). assuming she saw that I saw the whole accident she came back and got into her car and was going to leave before she started the first verbal altercation with me pretending that she didnt hit the car. I guess she was mad she got caught... she later came back (im assuming after her shift) left in the car and came back to start another altercation with me? flipping me off and calling me a Karen before again almost backing into the same car twice while trying to pull off never even getting out of the car. after reading the reviews of this place and having this interaction with one of the nurses I wouldn't bring any of my loved ones here and that maybe they should rethink the staff that they hire.

My mom living in this nursing home more than ten years. Last night from hospital emergency backed to nursing home. There is no one taking care of her. Just let her with hospital clothes laying on bed with wet blanket, until my sister came.
