Sign in to reviewI came here because I read a review about steak and cheese bahn mi. I came at about 10 am Sunday morning before football which probably lucky because parking lot was fairly empty. I walked up and people were out on patio seating. There was minimal seating inside. Good quick food so seating not really an issue. I ordered the steak and cheese bahn mi. I enjoyed this sandwich very much. I liked that the bread was fresh and not to much bread. The ratio of toppings to meat to bread were nicely proportionate. This place was less than a mile from my house delicious so I’ll be back.
I got their banh mi dac biet for $5.00 today. Pretty good sandwich. If only the bread was more fresh or at least toasted to make it seem fresh, that would've made it a 5 star. The small sandwich shop is not clean as it should be which would make customers feel like the food might not be served in a clean manner. The banh mi meat was pretty good and a decent amount of meat was in it. They used a good amount of pate and some Vietnamese mayo which gave it a good solid authentic Vietnamese banh mi flavor. Good job on that. Veggies were fresh. I told the sandwich maker to cut it in half for me and this was my favorite part of it. She individually wrapped the two halves. So awesome. I hate when you tell places to cut the sandwich in half and they don't cut it all the way through, drives me nuts because when you make the last effort to break it in half, some of the meat and veggies get pulled out and it gets messy. Also bugs me when they wrap the banh mi and then cut it and don't add a other paper wrapper. Would I go back again? Maybe only because of the cleanliness factor.

I live in SD and come up here for banh mi. The is the best place for Banh MI and shakes. I always call in my order and 15 minutes later it’s ready. Durian shake is awesome.
