Sign in to reviewReally wish I could give this place zero stars. Walked in wanting a simple trim. That went well. When it came down to styling and blow drying staff couldn't do a simple blow out. I have curly hair, but not unmanageable. I've been to several salons and never thought this would happen to me. Staff cannot do a simple blow out on hair that isn't pin straight. Doesn't make sense. Kept telling me my hair is too frizzy and hard to manage. Horrible experience and still had to pay 55$ for this ugly hair. This is after I told the manager I don't like my hair and feel like this is not worth the price they are charging. He did not care. I've never hated my hair more in my life. I included a photo of a blowout I did myself at home. The three are photos of how I left the salon. I want my money back I have been crying since I got home. I was excited to leave the salon feeling fresh with a nice blowout. Instead I went home in tears and feeling embarrassed I gave this place my hard earned money. Every salon should be able to do a simple blowout on all kinds of hair, it is not about "specializing" in curly hair. The first three photos and video are the work from the salon. I have also included a picture of my “curly unmanageable hair” and a photo of a blowout I did myself at home
It took 4 hours to get my roots done. They didn’t show me the back of my hair, I went home and my son said I had bald spots on the back of my head. It’s still burning even after 4 days later. I spent $258.75 to get roots done and very minimal trim. I went in a day later after calling to see when the manager was there, come to find out he was the one helping with my hair. When I arrived, the “manager” refused to listen to me and my huge concerns. He ended up calling the police. The police came and they were even flabbergasted by my missing hair, the “manager” said I came in like that, obviously not true. He gave me 30% back of what I paid which is non sense, due to him calling the police on himself is the only reason I got some of my money back. I am now stuck with bald spots on the back of my head. I hope this post warns anyone going in to get color at this establishment!
Before: roots growing out, brassy blonde hair and split ends on the tips. After: more Natural looking ombré blend I Was in dire need to fix my overly processed hair, and found allure salon through yelp. The owner, Tracey, was quick to respond and messaged me with a link to make an appointment online. They were able to take me the next day at 10am when they open. Let me tell you, if you want your hair stylist to be attentive, you should go when they open when they have the least amount of customers, so they can focus on you better. I had Quinn, as my hair stylist. She was very patient and thorough, explained to me the process of each step. She did baby lights for my roots, then toned the rest of my hair, paying attention not to over tone my blonde part. She checked on my highlights every minute, whereas some salons, will let you sit there for 30-45mins, which causes major damage. Overall it took about 3.5 hours for babylights, a simple hair oil treatment, haircut, and style. Would definitely definitely come back again for touch ups. Worth the 1 hour drive.
Lucy is such a delightful lady with a cheery and sunny disposition, you’ll always get service with a smile. She is incredibly precise at achieving the best look for your hair and tailors it to you. My hair always looks and feels fabulous when Lucy colours and cuts it, I always get complimented. She’s the absolute best at what she does.
