Warning! Scammers! After my car battery died from sitting unused for a long time, the check engine light came on. On top of that, the muffler had been stolen from my vehicle. I went to this shop and was told that my engine needed repairs and that I had to replace the catalytic converter. They quoted me $2,950 for the job. I refused the repair and went to another mechanic for a second opinion. After proper diagnostics, it turned out there were no engine problems at all — they simply cleared the error codes, and after driving about 40 miles the car was ready to pass smog. It was also confirmed that the muffler was stolen, not the catalytic converter as the first shop claimed. At the second shop, the muffler replacement and code reset cost me only $380.

What used to be a reasonable reliable auto repair shop has went downhill. They over diagnose simple repair cost to make more money off you. i needed a new starter and alternator replaced and ended up paying $2000 on a 2003 PT Cruiser because they charged me for a new hood latch, when the brace bar was stuck, .$700, This should have been a courtesy or just cut the hood brace. C'mon Vinnie, I thought we were friends To top it off, they did shoddy work and didn't tighten a screw in the under carriage and a few days it came loose and was hanging down. When I took it back, they drove my car over the rail in their garage and it broke off. Vinnie charge me $150 for a new piece saying it was bent, but it wasn't it just needed the bolts put back in the way it supposed to have been after the alt/ starter repair. Im serous about suing for life endangerment and fraudulent work.

Don't come here unless you want to be scammed. Came here for a simple oil change. Ended up having to pay $350. All they did was retread the hole and add a new drain plug. It took them 10-15 minutes to do so. They asked me how much money I have in the bank before giving me the quotes. I'm like that's an odd question. Are you genuinely worried about if I can afford this type of work or are you just scheming a dollar amount you feel okay taking from me? After what unfolded, it was the latter. They first tried charging me $750 to replace the oil pan. The owner will pose as being your friend looking out for you, and giving you the best price. But looks can be deceiving. They will try to scam you. Just look at all the recent reviews and type in "scam" in the search bar for the reviews on here. I opted to just pay $350 for resizing the hole and adding a new drain plug. I thought this was a fair deal as I don't have to replace my whole oil pan. As you can see, none of their labor exceeds $300 an hour. And most of the labor per hour is less than $200 an hour. This job was less than 15 minutes. My car was parked outside the garage already fixed. They were just making me wait longer so it seems like they were fixing it longer. I tried pleading with the owner to see if I can at least get half back. That's $175 for less than 30 minutes of work. Told him I had been coming here for the last 8 years and that this was so unfair and it feels bad. All he said was "a deals a deal." That's not a deal. That's fraud and dishonest work. I just replied with "sorry this happened and thank you for fixing my car." I knew at that point, I was not getting any money back. The paper trail doesn't lie! Check out my pictures down below.. it is what it is. If this review helps other people from a malicious hoax. Then at least, my mistake on my part will not go to waste. Huge learning lesson. Double check with other auto shops or even the cops if it feels like you're being scammed. Trust your intuition if it feels off. Please do not support a business like this one. As citizens of this community, we don't want to waste/spend our hard earned money on a business that will cheat us. Let's spend our money elsewhere that will be fair and look out for our best interest! P.s. check Yelp reviews from real people’s stories.

WORST CAR EXPERIENCE EVER!!! - If I can rate this place a 0 out of 5 stars I would. -If you want to be totally scammed you’re at the perfect shop. - I went in for an oil change and ended up spending over $1.2k in random stuff that they said I needed. Then after a couple weeks another light went off and they charged me a total of $2k. - Complete rip off. Also, never sell your car to them. They offered to buy my car for $500. And told me the repairs would cost $5,000.00. I was smart enough to take it to another shop and they fixed it and I was able to sell if for $5k.

I had a very good experience with Save Auto. The process was easy and simple. They worked with my financial situation and made sure I was satisfied with everything with my car before leaving the lot. I was also allowed to test drive the vehicle as many times as needed and fixed deficiencies such as a bad battery and dashboard before they let me purchase the vehicle. I would defintely recommend.
