For Filipino shoppers looking for familiar ingredients and flavors, or anyone curious about Filipino groceries, it can be a convenient place to browse and shop. The store is open daily, Monday through Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., making it an option for both weekday errands and weekend shopping.
Seafood is a notable part of the store’s identity, and customer comments also point to a variety of products across the market. The selection may suit shoppers planning a home-cooked meal, looking for seafood, or hoping to find ingredients and goods that are less common in a standard supermarket. Reviews describe a market with more to explore than grocery aisles alone: there is also an in-store bakery and a restaurant called Grill City. Customers mention grilled meats and fish at the restaurant, as well as lumpia. These offerings give visitors the opportunity to browse groceries and find prepared food during the same visit.
The setting is described by visitors as a market with several departments and food options under one roof, rather than a small specialty shop focused on just one product. That makes it potentially useful for family grocery trips, Filipino households stocking up on familiar foods, and Las Vegas residents who want to explore Filipino ingredients and prepared dishes. Customer feedback also reflects varied experiences, including positive remarks about the product variety and some employees, alongside reports of dissatisfaction with service at particular counters or during individual visits. As with any busy store, experiences can differ, so shoppers with a specific request may want to confirm details with staff while there.
Located on N Decatur Boulevard in northwest Las Vegas, Seafood City Supermarket offers an accessible local destination for Filipino groceries, seafood, bakery items, and food from Grill City. Its posted hours are 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. every day of the week. The business has a 4.2-star rating based on 1,376 reviews, giving visitors a broad set of customer perspectives to consider. Me and my family shop at this store all the time but tonight was the most disgusting experience i have had in my life for a place that offers fresh seafood this is such a let down. We visited the seafood fry counter. They should close it down and not offer the wash fry option at all we got whole fish to be fried extra crispy what we got was a smelly , slimy, immediately throw in the trash disgusting piece of rot. I have eaten fish thousands of times both good and bad this level is i regret tasting it level. Waste of time and money. Extra crispy means soggy, fried means don’t scale the fish or clean just throw it in fryer according to seafood city kitchen.
I do like coming here for when my ancestors spiritually summon me to the food of my roots. I like the variety that can be found here, produce and meats, skin and bathing products, and of course the seafood living up to their name, and tons …
After years of saying I was going to check this place out I finally stopped by today. I am so glad I did because this place was pretty cool. Not only is it a market but there is a bakery and restaurant inside. The restaurant is called Grill City and they are serving up various grilled meats and fish as well as lots of your deep fried favorites like pork chops, onion rings, shrimp, and even chicken skins. The food looked fresh and the ladies who helped me behind the counter were so sweet. I did some shopping in the market as well and their prices are comparable to other grocery stores for most items. However I found incredible deals in their meat section. I picked up T-bone steak for a whopping $7.99! I love this place. This will definitely be a market that I visit regularly.
I like the workers there at Seafood. They are nice and easy to get along with. However, I had a horrible experience with the guy name David. I heard that he is a manager. Since today is Tuesday, I asked him for senior discount, but told me …
Seems as if they don't want to serve non-filipinos here. I was standing in the line waiting for almost 15 minutes just to order some lumpia. They sat there and chatted all that time until two old ladies came in the line and they went and served them first. One of the old ladies told me to speak up that was waiting in the line after they served them first. I asked for some lumpia + they serve me the worst ones they had. Look at the pictures. These lumpias are busted up and not even edible. Paid over $4 for two terrible tasting veggie lumpias. Probably won't come back to this one again. Maybe I'll try the one on Maryland.
