Massage is the main reason people come here, especially deep tissue sessions for tight shoulders, back tension, and stubborn knots. Reviewers mention 60-minute and 90-minute services, including a 90-minute deep tissue massage priced reasonably in one customer's experience. Several guests appreciate that the hands-on time feels complete, with the massage lasting the full booked hour rather than being shortened by check-in or transition time. Therapists are also described as friendly, accommodating, and responsive to feedback, which matters when pressure, soreness, or focus areas need to be adjusted during a session.
One useful detail for first-time visitors is the intake process. Customers note that they may be asked to fill out a short preference form before service, and some have called the same morning to schedule a weekday appointment. Same-day availability is mentioned by repeat guests, making Serenity Day Spa of Fremont a convenient choice when stress or muscle tension cannot wait for a long-planned booking. As with any bodywork service, it is smart to clearly confirm preferences, such as pressure level or whether hot stones should be used, before the massage begins.
The spa works well for people who value straightforward comfort: regular massage clients, office workers, commuters, friends planning a shared wellness stop, and anyone who wants a calmer pause without leaving Fremont. Hours run daily from 10:00 AM, with later closing times on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, which can help people fit a massage around workdays or weekend plans. The Christy St address is also easy to reference for anyone searching locally for a massage spa near 43056 Christy St or the surrounding Fremont area.
Because customer feedback includes both strong praise and a few concerns about communication around preferences and tipping, this is a place where being clear up front can help set expectations. Overall, Serenity Day Spa of Fremont stands out as a clean, reasonably priced massage spa in Fremont, CA with friendly service, essential-oil ambience, and deep tissue massage that repeat customers specifically mention. For locals seeking consistent relaxation and practical muscle relief, it offers a grounded option in the heart of the city.

Sign in to reviewThe spa was clean, relaxing, and the service overall was good. I liked that they had us fill out a preference form beforehand. My only issue was that I specifically said no hot stones, but they still used them during my service, which I personally didn’t enjoy. The other thing that felt a little uncomfortable was being asked about tipping after already paying. I totally understand tipping, but the way it was brought up felt a bit pressured. Other than that, the experience was nice overall.
I’ve been coming here for a few years and usually get a deep tissue massage about once a month. The place is always clean, smells like essential oils (which I appreciate), and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. They often have same-day appointments available, pricing is very reasonable, and I always have a great experience. I would highly recommend this place!
I visited Serentiy Day Spa in the early afternoon on a weekday for the first time and the whole process was very smooth - I called them in the morning to make a booking, showed up 5 minutes early, filled out a short form, paid the massage fee and I was good to go. Here are a few things to note here : 1. You do not tip upfront. Your initial payment is only for the base massage rate. You tip after your massage. They have a sign right next to the front desk, which basically encourages you to tip more (1 thumbs up - 20% tip, 2 thumbs up - 25% tip, 3 thumbs up - 30% tip). Don't feel pressured because of that sign. It's better if you carry cash for the tip. They prefer it that way because you give the tip directly to your masseuse. 2. The short form you fill out lets you provide information like pressure level, sore points to focus on during the massage, and any injuries that the masseuse needs to be aware of. This is very helpful in case there is a language barrier. The front desk lady was really nice and friendly. And I wasn't pressured into tipping a certain amount, which is great. I opted for the Swedish massage with back walking. The rate was very reasonable, and the massage was well worth the price. You can find all the rates on their website. My masseuse was quite good. I have had back walking experience in the past, but this one was a little different (and more intense). My masseuse used her heels and the toes to dig into my back to loosen it before the oil massage. It was maybe 5 - 10 minutes long, but there were times when I definitely struggled to breathe. This part was definitely not relaxing, but it's on me. I could have asked them to lower the intensity/pressure more, but I thought that they were already doing the lowest pressure because I had mentioned it in the form that I filled out. My masseuse engaged me in a few conversations during the massage. I was okay with it, but I can see how that can hinder the overall experience for folks who enjoy their massage in a more quiet and peaceful setting. There wasn't any communication barrier, so I was able to ask my masseuse to lower the intensity for the oil massage, which was great. Their massage tables are heated, but you can ask them to turn it off if it gets too hot. Unlike other massage places, this spa didn't have water or tea after the massage was over (or at least I didn't see/get any), but that's fine. Overall, it was a great experience.
Very clean and reasonably priced. I got the 90 minutes for $95 deep tissue massage. I had a great Masseuse who found all my knots and took great feedback. Would come back again.
Pros and Cons: Pros: Great massage, they do massage for full hour and not like 5 mins late to get you ready and leave 5 mins early. They do full 1 hr massage for 60 mins Cons: Stay away from their shady attitude. We had paid tip in advance (choices were 25%, 30%, 35%) but at the end of the massage, we wanted to pay more so on top of the initial tip, we gave extra $10 to each as it was a couple's massage, they started saying it should be $20 for each; so at the end we ended up paying like 50% in tips.
