Serenity Foot Massage

A good massage, an odd experience. This is an amazingly serene space in an ordinary small shopping mall. I booked online a 1-hour "combo" massage for $70. I made a note: "both legs massage." Their appt. confirmation text message confirmed "both legs massage." I arrived at the very serene interior space about 8 minutes early. 3 times I was asked if I was a walk-in. 3 times I said I had an appointment. I felt myself tumbling into a world of English as a 2nd, 3rd, or higher-order language. A confusing detailed sign listed the services. I got the feeling that the web site had no substantial connection with what goes on here. When my massage was ⅔ over and my legs had not been touched, I finally spoke up, and they got some attention. My 1-hour massage lasted 60 minutes. I felt much better afterwards. I'll probably return, but I might telephone (full of hope) anticipating a less confusing result than booking online. I'll also speak out more forthrightly. Oh yes, I ended up paying $80. I will negotiate price in advance as well as anatomical sites at my return visit. A friend suggested I go elsewhere, but I said, "No, elsewhere might be even harder to 'break in,' and they really did do a good job of what they did." Unlike some other reviewers, no one mentioned a tip to me. I paid cash which is the approximate equivalent of a 10% tip. I probably would not have returned if I had been urged to tip.

I came into Serenity Foot Massage in Renton hoping for some relief after sleeping wrong and waking up with painful knots all through my upper back. I am so glad I did. My massage therapist was a complete professional from start to finish. They identified exactly where the tension had built up and worked through every single knot with skill and patience. By the time my session was over, I felt like a completely different person — the tightness was gone and I could finally move comfortably again. The space itself is clean and relaxing, and the staff made me feel welcome the moment I walked in. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending Serenity to anyone who needs real, effective relief. Five stars all the way!

Amazing first experience here. My friend and I took our moms here today for Mother's Day and got a the foot/body massage combo (well three of us did, 1 did just a chair massage) We all have been raving about it since we left. So good. They listened to our specific needs and it was amazing. Will be back.

My 60 minute "foot" massage included a soothing face, head and arm treatment followed by an incredible foot massage and wonderful pressure point back treatment. Owen is a fantastic therapist! It was easy to book online, prices are reasonable, parking a breeze, the environment is relaxing and front desk helpful. I chose to pay for my service with a credit card and tip in cash. Highly recommend!

I visited this massage salon and decided to try a standard massage after checking the listed prices. The massage table had no heating, so I felt cold during the one-hour session. The massage itself was very basic — not bad, but nothing special or impressive. The most unpleasant part happened at the front desk after the massage. I planned to leave a 10% tip, but the woman at the counter became upset and insisted that I must leave a 20% tip. There was no information anywhere (in the salon or in the price list) stating that a mandatory 20% tip would be added or expected. I want other customers to be aware that the real price may be higher than the listed price, because you may be pressured to add an extra 20% tip afterward. Tips should be optional, not demanded. Because of this experience and the uncomfortable pressure, I do not plan to return.
