My children have been patients at this office since they were in elementary school they’re now in high school. We’ve always had absolutely great experiences with Dr. Corbert Ellison. However, today my daughter saw Dr. Karla Apodaca with assistant Cynthia, and the experience was traumatic for her. As soon as we got in the car, my daughter was in tears. I had to give her a moment to calm down before she could explain what happened. She described the dentist as rude and impatient. At one point, she said the dentist and assistant laughed and made comments in Spanish while working in her mouth. While I respect other languages, my daughter doesn’t understand Spanish, and this made her feel even more uncomfortable and self-conscious. During the exam, my daughter expressed discomfort, but the dentist came across as irritated and at a point snapped and yelled at her. I want to add that when I asked how long the numbing would last so she could eat, I asked twice and was told they didn’t know not even a general estimate. Even a rough timeframe would have been helpful. This is not my daughter’s first visit here we have been coming for years so this experience was very out of character compared to what we’re used to. I’m sharing this because it was genuinely a distressing experience for her, and I hope it can be addressed. As a parent I’m simply advocating for my daughter and ensuring she feels safe and respected during her care.

Best dental experience I’ve had. The staff is friendly and professional, never a long wait, and the dentist actually takes time to explain everything without making you feel rushed or judged. Office is clean and modern. Billing is always transparent — no surprise charges. If you’ve been putting off finding a dentist, this is the place.

Although they are opened on Friday’s you’re never able to get in touch with anyone via phone call. The voicemail even states that they are opened on Friday’s.

My experience with this dentist office was good. I felt comfortable the whole time and it felt more like a family environment. The staff was exceptional with scheduling and catering to all my needs at the office while I was getting wisdom teeth pulled. The Doctor’s bed side manners was awesome the whole time never once I felt out of place and I would recommend them to anyone….

Office disorganized and not forthcoming with their requirements for appts. They will allow you to make an appointment then when you show up for said appt demand a referral or you won't be seen. Although they will repeat the same process that they needed for the referral. Lazy people wanting to have free time.
