Sign in to reviewShin-Sen-Gumi has been around for a very long time. This restaurant serves authentic Japanese yakatori before all the craze. One of the best in OC. When we miss Japanese Yakatori, this is where we go. The yakatori is grilled with care and of course the tastes is amazing. The service is excellent here. If you leave a bad review, it probably shows that you lack character or patience 😅👏
Great food even though it’s a long wait at end of the night . Everything we ordered came out perfect and fast . Good drinking food here .
Had that Hakata Red and one of the rice bowls on my first visit here. The food was pretty good, wouldn't say the best I have tried but it was delicious. Service was also quite fast and the restaurant was not that full, which was surprising considering it was a really cold night. The only thing I didn't really like was that it was super cold in there, but everything else was fine. Will come back to try more food!
We had lunch here and really enjoyed the food. The food was much better than I expected. My favorite is Dan Dan noodles. Service was great, attentive and friendly. There was no wait during lunch hours either. The restaurant also offered some discounted items on weekdays, such as $2.65 for draft Sapporo on Thursdays. We would come back!
This place is the best ramen restaurant in my opinion. I have been patronizing this place for 14 years. They still serve exactly what they served 14 years ago. Amazing to see them keeping up their quality. Yes it is their craftsmanship that makes their ramen authentic. They are nice in service and doing honest business. They didn’t raise much the price of their signature ramens compared to other restaurants. I am very happy to have this place around my house and highly recommend this place. I am liking it even more because their prices are very humble in these day when I have to pay $14 for a pho, which is non-sense to me.
