Best Viet coffee drinks I’ve had in Seattle. The Biscoff latte (50% sweet) was so good I don’t think I’ll ever drink anything better in my life. Ube latte was good too, but that Biscoff latte has changed my life 🤤 Cute space too, just comfy and cozy
I stopped by Sip House while working a contract job in the UW area and needed a coffee ASAP before heading in. I ordered an Americano and a French toast pastry, which came to about $11 and change. I’ll give credit where it’s due: the coffee and pastry were jamming. The French toast pastry had great flavor and the Americano was solid. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill after I left. When I walked in, I honestly didn’t feel very welcome. The atmosphere made me feel out of place, like I shouldn’t have been there. Maybe unintentional, but the vibe felt noticeably cold. The biggest issue was the coffee lid. Shortly after leaving with my order, the cup started leaking badly. Coffee dripped all over the pastry envelope, my hands, and even my work ID while I was walking to my contract job. I hate sticky hands, so this instantly turned my morning into a caffeinated obstacle course. To make matters worse, the pastry bag got so soaked from the leaking coffee that the paper made half of the pastry soggy. I could only eat about half of it before tossing the rest. It’s unfortunate because I genuinely enjoy trying new places to eat, but between the unwelcoming feeling and the messy to-go experience, I probably won’t be back. Thankfully, I was only in the area temporarily for work.
Prices were fair, establishment was clean. I ordered a chocolate croissant and asked for it to be warmed up, only for it to be cold and the blocks of chocolate to be hard. The vibe of the cafe was nice but it was small and not a lot of seating, so you’d just have people standing next to you while you eat at the table.
My friend and I ordered the viral tiramisu drinks, and it costs $13.95 for each, and to be honest it’s not worth it. The coffee tastes is not good but the tiramisu taste is good. The place was so crowded as well with students.
We tried the pistachio cream latte and the tiramisu latte here. Let me start by saying that they’re both hefty drinks - especially the tiramisu latte. …
