Slikker's Donut is a neighborhood donut shop at 1321 MacArthur Blvd in San Leandro, California 94577. For residents and visitors looking for donuts and a breakfast stop near MacArthur Boulevard, it provides an accessible local option with early daily opening. The shop is open from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Saturday, with Sunday hours from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. That schedule can work well for a before-work coffee run, a morning errand, or a weekend treat. Its focus is straightforward: counter-service food and drinks in a local setting rather than a formal dining experience.
Customer comments highlight several specific food and drink choices. Among the most detailed menu recommendations in customer feedback is the No. 5 breakfast sandwich, described as sausage, bacon, and egg on a croissant. One reviewer pairs it with a donut and calls out the maple twist and vanilla cake sprinkle as personal favorites. Another review says the fish cake was good, suggesting there may be savory options alongside the donut selection. Feedback also mentions self-serve hot coffee and iced coffee. Menu offerings can change, so these review-mentioned items are useful starting points for guests who want something more substantial than a single pastry or who are choosing a dozen to share.
Based on the reviews, Slikker's Donut comes across as a casual neighborhood stop rather than a destination built around elaborate service. It can suit people picking up breakfast on the way to work, families or coworkers sharing donuts, and nearby customers making routine errands. Its early 6:00 AM opening and all-day weekday and Saturday hours add practical flexibility, while Sunday offers a shorter afternoon window. A previous guest mentioned buying a dozen, and others describe pairing a sandwich with a donut. People interested in lottery tickets have also mentioned stopping by; availability should be confirmed directly.
With a 3.9 rating across 50 reviews, Slikker's Donut has a mixed set of customer experiences that is useful to consider. Positive comments describe it as local and mention good service, the breakfast sandwich, and particular donut varieties. Other reviewers have reported dry donuts, coffee they did not enjoy, and disappointing staff interactions. One reviewer also raised a concern about card fees and a tip appearing without clear notice. Those are individual reports rather than verified policies, but guests paying by card may wish to check posted fees and their total before leaving. This range of feedback gives prospective customers a balanced picture: Slikker's Donut may appeal to local donut and breakfast-sandwich seekers who value convenience and review the current experience for themselves.

Sign in to reviewDon't care for Doug nuts but the fish cake was quite good. Local. Pretty good service. I'll be back . That one lady's review about the "dark doughnut " was hilarious. 😆 Two reviews below mine. …
I bought a dozen donuts and the male cashier still charged me a credit card fee and tipped themselves without notifying me. I realized in my car when I was already driving away. I wonder how many times this has happened? As I recall, there was no sign regarding additional fees. Please check your receipts. Some donuts were not that fresh as they were dry and could have been from the night before. I went at around 10am btw. The customer service was sub par. Not as friendly as you would expect for a small business in town. When I entered, the audible notification triggered but they continued to chat as they just glanced over at me. I then had to flag them down. They definitely lacked in customer service as I was not greeted nor did I feel welcomed when acknowledged. When scanning through reviews it seems others have had similar experiences.
Love this place! I get a #5 breakfast sandwich: sausage, bacon & egg on a croissant along with any donut they have - they’re all good but my fav is maple twist or vanilla cake sprinkle. And they serve a variety of different hot coffees you serve yourself but also have a great iced coffee and Thai tea with boba that’s great too. Also, a scratcher machine and just a good vibe and helpful staff
Staff is disrespectful and rude. I’ve been here a few times to get lotto tickets and a donut. Donuts are dry, don’t bother with the coffee. Taste like it’s from 2 days ago. Mostly they lack customer service skills. I’ve been going to Lucky Donuts on Dutton/Bancroft.
Caution, Beware and Be Advised....Do not shop here. The male worker in this place is extremely lacking in customer services skills. What is the purpose of having a bell on the counter to announce waiting customers. A gentle tap of the bell sent this person into an unwarranted rage of being disrespectful, condescending, shouting and just totally nasty. I kindly let him know I'll never shop here again. His behavior would have him fired on the spot if he worked pretty much anywhere else. So, please spend your hard earned money at another store that is welcoming and respectful.
