I love a sweet treat and decided to stop by Smallcakes Cupcakery after seeing it was a bakery I had never tried before. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my experience. I purchased three cupcakes - red velvet, strawberry, and lemon - for almost $18. For a little over $5 each, I expected them to be bigger or at least taste fresh and flavorful. The cupcakes were smaller than I expected, dry, and the flavors were unimpressive. Honestly tasted like three day old cake. The customer service also did not leave a great impression. If I did not live half an hour away, I would have gone back to request a refund. I would not recommend this location and do not plan on going back.

i stopped by smallcakes frisco with my family while we were out running errands and decided to grab some cupcakes to try. the selection looked amazing and it was honestly hard to choose because everything looked fresh and well decorated. we tried a few different flavors, and each one had a great balance of sweetness without being too much. the cupcakes were soft, moist, and tasted like they were made with care. the staff was friendly and helped us pick some popular options. it was a fun little stop, and i will definitely be coming back when i need a dessert for a special occasion or just a sweet treat.
What an incredibly beautiful establishment, you walk in and it will be ecstasy to your sense of smell. The ladies were absolutely incredible from the walk-in to the guidance of desserts and as to what to select, they were outstanding! Stop in, YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED BUT EXCEEDINGLY PLEASED!
The best birthday cake i have ever gotten! My only complaint would be that they forgot to put the fresh strawberries in for the filling of my custom cake. The vanilla bavarian cream was delicious as well as the wedding cake flavor! and the decorations were perfect! For reference the total was $114 which i think is somewhat reasonable for everything they did!
