WORST SMART & FINAL EVER. Never coming back again to this location. Alondra is extremely rude and unprofessional. I needed help with my digital coupon since my Smart & Final app doesn’t work and she didn’t want to help. Armando was nice enough to help but Alondra was telling him not to accept the coupon because it wasn't coming from my app. I then asked if she can help me fix the problem to get the digital coupon and she said no because we are closed in such a rude way .
Smart and Final is a great non-member store chain to shop for groceries. This particular store is fairly large and contains a good variety of products. The store is very clean and well lit. I did find it's organization a bit confusing and wandered the aisles a bit to find the products on my shopping list. For example, the cheese is not near the refridgerators near the center of the store near the deli section. Prunes found near cereal and baking goods in other stores were near produce. The signage at the aisles weren't helpful to me. I guess I could get used to the organization after shopping there more often. I'm still a fan.

Checkout at this location is always frustrating. There’s never a dedicated cashier, and customers are constantly pushed toward self-checkout—even when they don’t want to use it. Every time, there’s some issue: an item won’t scan, or the system needs employee approval. Staff have to stop what they’re doing to assist, which slows everything down. This morning, I was in a rush to get to work and just needed a couple of items. Shopping took five minutes, but waiting around at self-checkout for help took even longer. It’s incredibly inconvenient. Please consider keeping at least one staffed checkout lane open at all times.
