I've been to Smith's automotive several times and each time they have been extremely helpful. I bought a catalytic converter from them for our son's car and installed it myself and when the code popped up for the exhaust system again a few months later they honored the warranty immediately and the new catalytic converter has been fine. My wife's car needed the A/C system flushed and recharged and they were much less expensive. I asked why other shops all quoted me such high amounts and I was told that the "book" amount is actually 1.5 hours and the amount that other shops charge is actually "correct" yet they only charge .5 hours for a simple recharge because they felt that 1.5 hrs was a little much (however, some newer systems may require a bit more). I appreciate their honesty and good work.

Took my F-150 to Autonation Ford for a recall for a sudden downshift with my transmission. Autonation only reprogrammed the PCM and did no other diagnostic work. They didn’t even drive it around the block. Needless to say my truck had issues immediately. Autonation Ford said it would take at least two weeks before they could diagnose my issue. I made one call to Smith’s Auto. They got me in the next day, diagnosed the transmission issue, replaced the part, drained and refilled the transmission fluid, replaced the filter and replaced the transmission gasket in less than 24hrs. Excellent customer service! 10/10 would recommend and will be going there again!
